So sad — it’s not like she had much time left for love.

Miley Cyrus‘ engagement to hottie Liam Hemsworth has been put on pause for now: the two have decided to postpone their nuptials.

“They want to figure out their life together before they get married,” said a source to People Magazine , who mentioned the two originally wanted to tie the knot this summer.

This follows weeks of speculation that the two had actually broken up, with the former Disney star being seen walking around on multiple occasions without her engagement ring.

According to most, it seems like no one actually knows what’s going on, but other sources close to the two say that they are still very much making their way to wedded bliss in the future.

“They live together; the wedding is not off,” the insider shared. “You can’t postpone a wedding that never had a date in the first place. Their plan all along was to wait a couple of years before even thinking about a date. The People story is ridiculous.”

You know what else is ridiculous? Getting married at 20 — but you already know: she’s just being stupid Miley.

Well, this is one of the more confusing things Miley Cyrus has done in some time — not to even mention her hairstyle choice (which I’ve gotten used to).

After constant screeches from blogs saying that she and fiance Liam Hemsworth were on the rocks, the 20-year-old decided to pump the brakes on social media yesterday.

“I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn’t call off my wedding,” she wrote, adding, “Taking a break from social media. #draining.”

“my new music is gonna shut everyone up,” she later added. “not discussing anything but my music from now on.”

The rumors began of trouble with her gorgeous soon-to-be hubby last week, when Hemsworth was said to have been spotted with Mad Men star January Jones at a pre-Oscar bash.

However, Miley herself isn’t really helping things out to calm the storm — she was spotted just yesterday with loads of jewelry on, but definitely not her engagement ring. Which of course, is no big thing — but again, doesn’t really lend credence to that whole “all is well” claim.

The Can’t Be Tamed singer’s new music that’s “gonna shut everyone up” should be hitting us soon — the star recently signed with Larry Rudolph, who is best known as being Britney Spears’ manager.

And today, I suddenly have a little more respect for this young woman.

It’s becoming apparent that as the years go on, former Disney icon Miley Cyrus is more about letting life come naturally to her. She’s finally doing the music she wants to do, leaving her long recognizable locks by the wayside and kicking it with the ganja (on occasion).

But one thing she will jump to the forefront on: her relationship with hottie fiance, Liam Hemsworth.

Following a story where she was apparently seen with former Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick that was reported by so-called Mr. Now Nice Guy Perez Hilton, the 20-year-old jumped on him via her Twitter and cut him down a couple of pegs.

“@perezhilton hope you find love one day but can you not f–k with mine,” Cyrus tweeted. “I’ve never been with Ed W in my life. I was at the studio last night working on my record and never left with anyone other than my assistant. What happened to your big enlightenment… what happened to your promise to spread love not lies. And to be a decent human being with values and morals??? Dude u ask for people to respect you and your relationships I demand the same thing.”

She closed it out as nicely as possible, expressing that he could “feel free to ask me whatever u want but I can’t tolerate lies. Thanks for understand. Blessings x.”

Epic comments are epic.

Don’t make her angry. You won’t like her when she’s angry.

Miley Cyrus must be in a really bad mood after that break-in and her ugly hair style this past weekend, because she’s just been charged for criminal battery after fighting in a nightclub/theater on Saturday night.

According to the guy she allegedly hit, he and his friends were sitting behind Miley and her fiance, Liam Hemsworth at the Beacher’s Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood when he accidentally bumped into Liam’s chair.

Liam caught an attitude about it and an argument began to get rowdy… when Miley decided to defend her man and jump into the middle of things. But not before she pushed the guy away and smacked him in the face.

Miley’s rep claims the incident is “completely false and erroneous”.

From Disney star to crazed woman — it’s a beauty seeing her grow up, ain’t it?
