The TRL fan boy in me just screamed out “YES”!!!

Pop group/boy band 98 Degrees is reuniting for one night only. Member Nick Lachey confirmed the news this morning on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show as well as via his Twitter:

Big announcement with @RyanSeacrest today. Felt like 2001 all over again! Can’t wait for August 18th in Hershey. Be there. #98degrees

Nick, along with fellow members, brother Drew, not-so-cute Justin Jeffre and Chippendales dancer Jeff Timmons will be performing at the Summer Mixtape Festival in Hershey, PA. It will mark the first time in 10 years the boys have performed together. Although not as popular as other boybands of that time, they managed to sell 10 million records worldwide.

With the added recent news of a O-Town reunion, does anyone else think MTV should get them together with others (Backstreet Boys, for example) and have a huge 90′s boyband concert? I say yes!

Your favorite soon-to-be former Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria looked like a gold goddess at the 11th Annual Padres Contra El Cancer’s “El Sueno De Esperanza” Gala at the Tropicana in Las Vegas Saturday. Pretty and shiny, huh?

Although it’s not seen, she was later wrestled into the pocket of Lea Michele who mistook her for an Emmy award.

Seen here, she embraces George Lopez. They first met when they were both married and had TV shows. They’re now divorced and unemployed.

Your second favorite 98 Degrees crooner (haaaay, Nick), Jeff Timmons, posed with Playboy Playmate and Miss July 2011 Jessa Lynn Hinton at the Chippendales Show in Las Vegas yesterday.

The 38-year-old joined the male revue as a celebrity MC back in May and was contracted to stay through June 19, but he’s been so popular that producers have extended his run at the Rio.
