Bobby Brown In ‘N Out

10th Annual Hoodie Awards - Arrivals

Wednesday afternoon, troubled R&B crooner Bobby Brown turned himself in  begin his jail sentence for driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license, which he was arrested for back in October.

Thursday morning, troubled R&B crooner Bobby Brown was released from jail.

He was originally to have served 55 days for the charges.

He ended up behind bars for 9 hours.

Gotta love that justice system, huh?

Brown checked into L.A. County Jail at 9:58 AM Wednesday.  He was released at 6:58 PM.  Interesting … an L.A. County Sheriff’s spokesperson said just days ago Brown would serve 9 days … but the jails are bursting at the seams and this is what happens … kind of a joke, don’t you think?

In case you were wondering, this was his second DUI arrest in seven months, but it seems like celebs who drive recklessly always get off pretty easy.

He’s been ordered to wear an ankle bracelet for 8 days and is under house arrest.

Again, sounds oddly familiar.

Bobby’s Back Where He Usually Is

Bobby Brown in Concert on NBC's "Today Show" at Rockefeller Center in New York City on May 28, 2012

It’s been a few months, so of course, it was about time for Bobby Brown to either do something to put him in jail or actually be in jail.

This time, it’s the latter for a DUI he was charged with in October: he was sentenced yesterday to 55 days in jail and four years probation.

City attorney’s spokesman Frank Mateljan says Brown was sentenced Tuesday after pleading no contest to charges he was under the influence and driving on a suspended license when he was arrested in October.

Brown was on probation for another DUI case at the time.

Whitney’s ex is set to enter to jail on March 20th and alongside his incarceration and probation, will have to complete and 18-month alcohol program, which includes 3 meetings a week until he turns himself in.

Bobby Brown Gets Popped For Another DUI

R&B’s self-proclaimed “bad boy” Bobby Brown (pictured with singer/songwriter Marlina Moye) was arrested for something he’s all too used to — driving while intoxicated –  last night while driving through a Los Angeles street. It’s the second time he’s been busted for it this year.

Cops pulled over the ex-husband of Whitney Houston around 1 a.m. after seeing him driving erratically. As they approached the car, they were hit with a strong smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle.

He was given a sobriety test, which he (obviously) failed and booked.

He was previously arrested for the same thing back in March, which led him to rehab over the Summer… yeah, we see how well that went.

Joe Simpson Arrested For Drunk Driving

Uh-oh! Those Simpson women better get back to work! Look what happens when he has nothing to do!

Joe Simpson, the father and manager of Jessica and Ashlee, was popped for a DUI in L.A., according to TMZ.

Law enforcement caught him driving in Santa Monica Blvd. August 4th and when they pulled him over, officers realized he had imbibed quite a bit of booze. He was cuffed and spent the entire night behind bars.

As it happens to be his first offense, he’ll probably get off with nothing more than a fine that one of his daughters will end up paying.

Jenna Jameson and Poles Don’t Mix

Sometimes the jokes just write themselves.

Ex-porn star maven Jenna Jameson is facing up to a year in jail following a DUI charge in May, TMZ is reporting. On May 25, Jenna slammed her car into a light pole in Orange County, CA and when police responded, she showed signs of intoxication and failed a field sobriety test. She also blew a .13 via a Breathalyzer test.

On top of all that, there were two drugs found in her system as well — zolpidem (Ambien) and buprenorphine (Suboxone). She was charged with two counts of DUI and one count of driving without a valid license.

Poor Jenna. Even outside of the industry, she’s still slamming into foreign objects.
