This Fan’s Got A Welt In A Hurtful Place

Rihanna in Concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim - April 9, 2013

On one hand, you have every right to defend yourself in a threatening situation.

On the other, with huge and burly bodyguards around you, this probably wasn’t the best way to do so.

At a recent Rihanna concert in Birmingham, England (one she was apparently two hours late for, by the way), the star decided to traverse through her fans while singing her hit, “We Found Love”.

Of course, fans in that much of a close proximity to a star will try to reach out to touch them, which someone did — except as Ri-ri attempted to move on, the fan wouldn’t let go of her.

Rather than perhaps tug a little harder or even instruct a very close bodyguard to handle it, she took matters into her own hands — or rather, her own microphone — and bopped the fan hard with it.

Yeah, they definitely let go after that.

Violence is not the answer, girl — kind of figured you knew that.

Anyway, check out the clip after the jump.

Lil Wayne Stomps on America

Supporting Chris Brown and the Up Close and Personal Tour!

What red, white, blue and covered with dirt and grime?

An American flag on the set of Lil Wayne’s latest music video!

Seems as if Old Glory was used as a prop for the upcoming clip to the track, “God Bless Amerika”.

During the shoot, Wayne begins rapping in front of a giant American flag … which is released to the ground. After it’s on the floor, Wayne continues to rap … while stepping all over the stars and stripes.

Footage from the video (recorded over the weekend) popped up online and the backlash was pretty immediate, which sent Weezy headed to Twitter to explain himself.

“I didn’t step on the flag on purpose”, he claimed. “It’s a scene in a video where the flag drops behind me and after it drop it’s just there as I perform.”

That would’ve been more believable if the leaked footage also didn’t show him looking down as he stepped all over the Stars and Stripes — repeatedly.

A peek at the lyrics to the track don’t help matters, either:

“My country ’tis of thee
Sweet land of kill ‘em all and let ‘em die
God bless Amerika
This ole’ godless Amerika…”

You can check out the clip after the jump.

The News Was Never This Interesting

NicoleCaroleTwitter

We all have that one co-worker we just can’t seem to stand — but most of us aren’t newscasters for a huge city and publicly show our disdain on a daily basis.

And for good reason!

Nicole Brewer, an anchor for a CBS affiliate in Philadelphia, seems to have some personal issues with the weather reporter for the station, Carol Erickson and while she claims it’s all in fun — Nicole stated on her Twitter that there’s only “love between them” — it definitely reaches the “bitch level” really quickly between the two of them.

So much so, that someone has compiled quite a few of their on-air attacks and posted it to YouTube.

The comments between the two range from slight snark to downright shade and yes, it’s as hilarious and uncomfortable as you’d imagine.

Perhaps it is taken slightly out of context, but you be the judge.

Check it out for yourself after the jump.

The Lonely Island Aren’t That Funny Anymore

SpellItOut

Either they’re running out of ideas or they’re taking the title of their upcoming release, The Wack Album, very seriously.

Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer — you probably know them better as The Lonely Island — are gearing up for their third album by releasing one song a week via iTunes and YouTube (they call them “Wack Wednesdays”) and their new song, “Spell It Out” was given to the public today.

Wednesdays, man. The Lonely Island is getting us through the hump-day the only way they know how: bestiality! More specifically, Andy Samberg wants you to follow the neon letters as he picks up his dry cleaning, eats, and spells spells spells — turning the consonants, vowels, and punctuation into a hip-hoppity beat.

Spelling out something about having sex with an animal. Ha-ha?

Check out the video — as well as the actual sentence he’s spelling out in the track — after the jump.

Autumn’s “Fortune” Just Skyrocketed

00250065-0000-0000-0000-000000000000_00000065-06d2-0000-0000-000000000000_20130531161432_Screen-Shot-2013-05-31-at-9_59_43-AM

Summer might just be making it’s way to your town, but a woman named Autumn Erhard is definitely going to be keeping cool with her recently acquired $1 million dollars from Wheel of Fortune.

The episode, which aired Friday, showed the animal pharmaceuticals sales rep already enjoying what she had gathered by the bonus round: over $30,000 in cash and prizes.

During the main rounds, she ended up landing on the million-dollar wedge — which only allows one of the Jackpot prize cards to be replaced from it’s usual $100,000 note to the million-dollar one during the bonus round.

So there was still no set chance that she would take it all.

Throw in the fact that her “Wild Card” that she held onto (which allowed for a bonus consonant for the final puzzle) only gave her 4 letters in the two-word puzzle and it seemed like Autumn’s luck was just about to run out.

Except it didn’t — not only did she somehow manage to guess the phrase “tough workout” within the first second of play, but she somehow ended up landing on the million dollar card, making her the second million-dollar winner in the show’s history!

And get this:

Erhard is 30 years old, she appeared on Wheel during its “Celebrating 30″ theme week — in honor of the show’s 30th anniversary — and her episode aired May 30. Clearly, the odds were in her favor.

“I am in complete and utter shock,” she said of the big win. “I wanted to have some fun and solve some puzzles – I feel like I’m in a dream!”

You’ve got to see this for yourself; I’m still flabbergasted! Head on after the jump.
