You’re definitely not going to “believe” this one.
For once, Justin Bieber had a pretty chill day during a recent stop in South Africa during his Believe tour — the concert sold out, fans were thrilled and he hit every move and note.
But there were some notes that were missing after he left the stadium — in this case, cash notes to the amount of over $300,000.
Following Saturday night’s concert, officials at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg caught wind of the disappeared dough, which was added up from the Biebs show and a performance by Bon Jovi from the night before.
“The suspect had gained entry through the roof,” Katlego Mogale, a spokeswoman for the Booysens police station in Soweto told Sky News today. “They broke the tile…of the bathroom between last night [Sunday] after the concert, and this morning.” She also said that a staffer had secured the money in question in a safe last night and no one noticed that it was missing until today.”
The Biebs released a sly comment on his Twitter, saying “It wasn’t me” — which of course, was deleted.
Dude, let’s hope not.
Justin’s off for a few days before bringing the tour back to America — first stop, June 22 in San Diego.
