It seems like the wild and reckless moments Justin Bieber has been going through lately have not changed the view of him in some of his many peer’s perspectives.

Fellow pop stars Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik of One Direction tweeted words of support, with the former of the two calling Bieber’s actions, “[nothing] out of character in comparison to any other teenagers I know”.

Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun said the 19-year-old was “good, really good” following a week where things seemed anything but.

But the hugest kick seems to have come behind Jada Pinkett Smith, mother of Bieber collaborator and close friend, Jaden Smith, who threw Taylor Swift, Rihanna and young Oscar nominee Quvenzhané Wallis (who was called a very inappropriate word by satirical site, The Onion via their Twitter — they eventually apologized) in the mix by nearly implying that the media is bullying these young stars who “eventually transform a million times before our eyes”.

“Are we asking them to defy the laws of nature because of who they are”, she posed in a very long post via her Facebook page. “Why can’t we congratulate them for the capacity to work through their challenges on a world stage and still deliver products that keep them on top…Imagine yourself, at their age, with the spotlight, challenges, and responsibilities.”

Well, that was surprising.

The hotly anticipated dramatization of Rihanna and Chris Brown’s relationship on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit hit the airwaves last night and while there were some mixed reviews for how the episode actually played out, there were a lot of close replays of what actually went down following that February evening between the two singers.

On the episode entitled “Funny Valentine”, two singers named Mischa Green (Riri) and Caleb Bryant (Chris — but you could’ve figured that out on your own) are in a loving relationship with each other in the public eye, but behind the scenes, there are beatdowns, threats and no one who is willing to talk about what they’ve witnessed on countless occasions.

Mischa keeps baffling police officer’s investigations, saying she’ll speak one moment and refusing to do so the next — repeatedly, even when Caleb ends up shooting her mentor, Brass (that would be the Jay-Z) square in the chest at a single release party for a song the two have recorded together.

As a tongue in cheek joke, one of the detectives quips that the twosome “should go on a double date with Chris Brown and Rihanna”.

But unlike the two of them, this story ends differently and sadly, in a way most domestic violence relationships end.

Following the dismissal of the murder case (which Mischa lies on the stand about), the two run off to Bermuda to get away from everyone’s eyes.

Caleb (Chris) and Mischa (Rihanna) are having a romantic moment on a private yacht when she asks about a text message on his phone. Caleb (Chris) says, “Haven’t you learned to mind your own business?”

The next scene is a reporter at a memorial for Mischa (Rihanna) … whose body was found in Bermuda … floating next to the yacht.

In an eerie connection, today marks the anniversary of the two reconciling back in 2009 following the attack.

It’s hard to tell if SVU was trying to send out a personal message to Riri about her recent reconnection with Chris, but — well, head on after the jump for my personal thoughts.

Maybe one moment in time, the memory may not sting as much, but one year later, much of the world still is mourning the loss of Whitney Houston.

Over the weekend, Arista founder Clive Davis — the man who discovered the timeless singer — threw his annual pre-Grammy bash and celebrated her life — the very same party Whitney was getting ready to attend when she was found dead last year in her bathtub at the Beverly Hills Hilton.

The family seems to be getting by — some better, some worse — as best as they can. While her mother Cissy declined an invitation from Clive to attend the shindig (she called the mere thought of the invitation “obscene”), her brother and sister attended in Whitney’s honor to give support to the man who brought the woman known as “The Voice” into our view.

As for her daughter, Bobbi Kristina — well, she was caught smoking something which probably wasn’t a cigarette with ex-fiance (but still boyfriend?), Nick Gordon a couple of days prior.

Today I had the pleasure of attending a private performance by Fun. You probably recognize their hit song We Are Young on Glee last month, or most recently as the song that played in the Chevy commercial that aired during the Super Bowl.

Fun. (yes, spelled with a period) was fantastic live!
