1D Are Authors, Too

WWABook

It seems like One Direction are seriously trying to take over the world at this point with everything they’re accomplishing in a short period of time: huge music sales, ticket sales and upcoming movie sales as well. So what’s the next step?

Why not a book?

Check out the cover of their upcoming autobiography (and fourth book overall), Where We Are: Our Band, Our Story — the image was revealed by the boys via Twitter.

“This is the only official book from 1D, charting their journey over the last year and a half – from the places they’ve visited and fans they’ve met, to their thoughts and feelings, hopes and dreams, highs and lows”, the official press release says. “It has been a phenomenal year – and this is a phenomenal story. This Christmas, there will be no other book that true One Direction fans will want!”

Way to pick into some pockets, y’all.

With a movie, a new album and a stadium tour all to come, it looks like the takeover has barely begun.

Where We Are: Our Band, Our Story hits bookshelves on August 27.

From 0 To 20/20: Justin Timberlake’s Gonna Be Busy

BRIT Awards 2013 - Arrivals

It looks like Beyoncé ain’t the only one that can properly hype herself.

Since Justin Timberlake has a new album to promote (March’s The 20/20 Experience), why can’t he be all over the place?

Oh, wait — he sort of can and will!

Mr. JT’s first stop is going to be in familiar territory: he’ll be hosting Saturday Night Live for the fifth time on March 9th. Not too surprising since he’s also turned up on the show repeatedly unannounced for years.

Following a day break, he’ll take part in a week-long sit in on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon beginning March 11th. He’ll be performing one song a night for the entire week, as well as chat with the host to open and close the week (Monday and Friday).

The new album will come the week after on the 19th.

His official website promises it will be like “Christmas in March” and for his many fans, I’m sure it will be!

Beyonce’s Gonna “Run The World” In 2013

beyonce-gq

So, the Superbowl appearance and the possibility of new music wasn’t enough for you?

Well, not to fear because Beyoncé is going to pretty much be doing everything and anything she can in this coming year.

“I now know that, yes, I am powerful,” she said to GQ Magazine (which she’s on the cover on for next month’s issue. “I’m more powerful than my mind can even digest and understand.”

While it might sound a bit cocky, the girl’s definitely got a massive point: not only is she going to be heading one of the hugest sport event’s halftime shows and start working on album number 5, but she somehow found time to  sign on for the President’s Inaugural Ball (she’ll be singing the National Anthem) and reunite with her old group, Destiny’s Child for an upcoming compilation album called Love Songs that features new tracks by the group.

Oh, yeah; she’s gonna be releasing that documentary next month, too.

Don’t forget to take time off to be a mother, girl!

She Tweeted out the image, which instantly posts to her official fan site, LittleMonsters.com.

”i won’t lie”, she stated in the Tweet/message; “I’m a bit nervous. its been a while since i’ve shared some work with you. But i’m so proud of Steven+I, we really did not sleep!”

Being toted as “the first ever black eau de parfum”, “Fame” hits Macy’s shelves August 22nd and worldwide the next month.

The Barbra Streisand Barbie doll

barbra_Streisand_barbie_doll

Isn’t it gawwwgeous?! Mattel has issued a limited edition Barbra Streisand Barbie doll that retails for $55, and designed in the image of a 1960s Babs performing in a sailor suit she wore on the Judy Garland Show.

Ever the perfectionist she is, Barbra had a hand in the design of the doll. She revealed on Thursday’s Oprah show that it still isn’t quite how she wanted it to be:

“I worked on this doll, very hard. The slit was in the back, had it go on the side. The fabric–the bow had a limp, it had to go straight. The hair is actually a little too silver, the bow is a little short, but it’s okay Mattel.”
