Kanye Rants; Today Is Thursday

Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Spring/Summer 2013 - Chanel - Arrivals and Front Row

You didn’t really we were going to get out of this week without any more complaints about the bump on his head that he caused, did you?

Well, if you did, you don’t know Kanye West very well — because during a “secret show” in New York City, the rapper performed a new song targeted toward the paparazzi that pretty much demands that they don’t treat him like an everyday celebrity.

Actually, that’s exactly pretty much what he says to the letter, but let’s back it up a bit.

The mini-concert actually was taking place for the upfronts for “Adult Swim” (a block of mature cartoons on the Cartoon Network) and Yeezy went through a bit of his past hits and a few new songs, including one that people are calling “Awesome”.

No, the song itself isn’t — they’re giving it an unofficial title of “Awesome”. Some of the lyrics:

“Stop everything you’re doing now/ Because Baby, you’re awesome / Don’t let nobody get you down / Because you’re awesome / You don’t need to listen to your manager … / You must be tired of running through my mind / Can I come inside? … I’m also awesome … / I’d rather do nothing with you, / than something with somebody new / Because Baby you’re awesome.”

Yeah, we know who that’s about — and we all wish we didn’t.

More after the jump.

Kanye Had A Smash

2011 CFDA Fashion Awards - Cocktails

And you thought you were having a bad week.

Still suffering from his huge hit over the weekend — you know, the one that provided the funniest video in life everKanye West continued on his massive fail train when a driver ended up crashing his Lamborghini Aventador, worth nearly a quarter-of-a-million dollars, into the side of a gate at Kim Kardashian’s home.

The hot ride was being delivered to her estate after getting worked on earlier in the week. The gate opened and the driver went through, but the gates began closing before it had completely passed, causing some damage.

The repair shop eventually sent someone over to see what they would have to work on now.

Yeezy’s in NYC right now, so there was no huge attack like last time, but you best believe he’s going to have yet another epic attack toward someone else — let’s hope this person was actually at the scene of the “crime”, though.

You can check out a clip of the car getting damaged after the jump.

No More Club Announcements From “Stefon”

Live from New York, another awesome Saturday Night Live cast member is hanging up his hilarity.

The awesome Bill Hader, who brought openly gay, club aficionado Stefon Zolesky to life with his hilarious hot spot reviews and repeated “breaks” while on screen, is the latest to reveal that he’s leaving the NBC weekend staple, with his final show coming this very weekend.

“It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point,” he said. “It got to a point where I said, ‘Maybe it’s just time to go.’ ”

The funny man first appeared on the show eight seasons ago and became a full cast member in 2006.

He quickly became known for his offbeat celebrity impersonations as well as portrayals of original characters like Stefon, a breathless aficionado of obscure New York nightclubs, and Vinny Vedecci, an Italian talk-show host.

Also possibly leaving the cast later this season are series regulars Fred Armisen and Jason Sudekis, with show creator Lorne Michaels specifying that the two are “making their decisions”.

This comes only days after learning that SNL head writer Seth Meyers — who is Stefon’s foil and crush during his “Weekend Update” appearances — is also on his way out to host Late Night, taking over for Jimmy Fallon who’s on his way to the Tonight Show in 2014.

There’s definitely no laughter here. We’ll miss you, Bill!

Another Huge Hit For Kanye

It has been way too long since we have had a proper Kanye West outburst but Friday, the world was finally able to drop the countdown clock back to zero.

The hip-hop star and his pregnant girlfriend, Kim Kardashian were exiting a parking garage to head into a nearby Beverly Hills restaurant. Of course, paps were following their every move and the “Heartless” star decided not to let them see his face and walked with his head down.

That would’ve worked fine — had it not been for a huge pole directly in Yeezy’s path.

You can figure out what happened next.

Yes, it’s just as hilarious as you think.

Taking a moment to regain his composure (the camera guys asked if he was OK), he took hold of Kim’s hand once more and entered the restaurant, only to exit it solo a few minutes later to begin hollering at the paps (which would be where the GIF from above comes from).

“I just got here”, another pap replies.

And yes, the entire thing is comedy gold. Watch where you’re walking next time.

Or not. It’s usually hilarious when people don’t.

You can check out both clips after the jump.

Male Beliebers Are Just As Crazy As The Female Ones

2012 Billboard Music Awards - Arrivals

When it comes to Justin Bieber’s fanbase, it turns out the guys are just as out of their minds as the girls.

During a stop in Dubai on Sunday, the singer was nearly hug attacked on stage by a male fan who somehow made it past security and came inches to grasping the Believe star in a tight embrace.

However, security was right on his tail and tackled the fan before dragging him off the stage. In a positive nod, the Biebs kept right on singing, even though his piano didn’t fare so well: it was knocked over in the ruckus.

I’m guessing that it wasn’t an actual piano or they might have just used a bit too much force.

“All is fine,” Bieber’s rep said in a statement. “A man ran on stage during ‘Believe’ and tried to grab Justin and knocked the piano over. He was a fan. Security detained the young man. All was fine and Justin continued the show.”

You can check out the moment after the jump.
