A Ft. Lauderdale man barely escaped death after a motorist ran him down with a car after the two quarreled over a parking space.

According to reports, the victim, Professor Hill, asked a man not to park on his grass. Furious, the man threatened to run him down–then did just that. Undaunted, the motorist stepped out the car and began brawling with several neighbors who witnessed the attack.

Incredibly, more than 13 men were able to free the victim by raising the car with their bare hands. He is recovering in a hospital and suffered a broken hip. The attacker is still in police custody.
