Despite a few messy set backs, Pamela Anderson pulled it together and looked picture perfect as she greeted fans after her pantomime debut playing the Genie of the Lamp in Aladdin at London’s New Wimbledon Theatre on Wednesday. On her performance, The Telegraph says:

Her squeaky voice is a pale imitation of Marilyn Monroe’s, and no one, or at least no one in their right mind, could describe her as a good actress.

But I rather fell for the way her initial sultry pouts gave way to innocent grins of pleasure at appearing in so daft a show. She shakes her booty to fine effect in an ensemble comedy dance routine, and when greeted with Salaams politely replies “No thank you ,I’m a vegetarian.” If not witty in herself, she is certainly the cause of wit in others. Kneeling before Aladdin in the cave, she sexily inquires, “Master, what is your wish?” “Tell her to rub your wick,” suggested a raucous voice from the stalls.
