A 4-year-old Tennessee boy was found drunk, with a Bud Light beer in hand, and is accused of stealing Christmas presents from a neighbor’s home on Tuesday, police say.

According to reports, the boy, Hayden Wright, broke into a neighbor’s house through an unlocked front door, and stole five wrapped Christmas gifts. He was then found wandering the streets around 1:45 a.m., wearing a little girl’s dress that he stole, and drinking a beer he took from a cooler in his mother’s home.

His mother, April Wright, 21–whose husband is in jail– says she has no idea how he managed to get out of the house, and even had child safety devices on her doorknobs to prevent him from leaving.

Hayden was rushed to the hospital to have his stomach pumped, and no charges have been filed. The mother says she’s embarrassed, but this isn’t the first time he’s caused mischief. “He runs away trying to find his father,” she said. “He wants to get in trouble so he can go to jail because that’s where his daddy is.”
