Beyonce got a little weird. Lady GaGa got a little normal. That’s basically the premise of Video Phone, the latest music video by Beyonce featuring the Gentleman. It’s very trippy, and I say watch this after you drop some magic mushrooms or acid–you’ll really get the message then. You know Gentleman GaGa added some subliminal messages and shit. What do you make of the video?

Here are a few ideas I have on what it all means:

This scenes establishes a message Beyonce has echoed for years: “I make a hotter looking Rihanna, than Rihanna.”

In this scene, a universal truth is revealed: The black-and-white cookie is the best cookie of all time.

Why bother showing your face when you look this good? Those two will do. And while we’re on the subject of butterfaces…

Who can say no to a man in a good suit?

This is GaGa’s “See, I’m not completely bat shit crazy” moment.
