
NY Post is reporting Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has published details on the Sex and the City sequel after getting its hands on a leaked script. For months now, rumors have been circulating about some of the key plot points–the girls being affected by the recession, more marital woes, flashbacks. Most of the changes in the sequel reflect our troubled economy, and an unnamed production insider says the sequel’s wardrobe will be “less over-the-top but still stylish.”

- Carrie and Mr. Big have more trouble. After a major money loss in a financial scam (a la Madoff), Big has to take work in London, where he lives in a dump of an apartment and cheats on Carrie. SAD FACE. Carrie finds out and dumps him, only to find out later that he’s preggers!!!!
- Carrie’s gay bestie Stanford Blatch gets hitched to Charolette’s gay bestie Anthony Marantino. Performing at the reception is Liza Minnelli, who sings a cover of Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies.” They have upped the gayometer, huh?
- Samantha gets back with Smith Jerrod and also has to cope with cutting back on the fabulous life–she too takes a hit by the financial scam.
- Miranda gets sued and quits her law practice. She and Steve open a restaurant. If you’ve seen Desperate Housewives, I’m sure you know how this plot development turns out….
