An elderly Texas man was charged with assaulting a female store clerk, twice,  by blowing white pepper in her face.

According to police, the man was trying to satisfy a bizarre sexual fetish–watching women sneeze.

“In my entire career I’ve never heard of anything like this,” Commerce Police Chief Kerry Crews told The Herald Banner. “He becomes aroused by females sneezing.”

The victim called police to Commerce Hardware and Feed on Monday after she said a customer handed her a check, and blew the substance in her face–only it didn’t directly hit her because she turned away to process the payment. When she turned back around to face him, he blew the powder directly into her face, waited for a few minutes, then left.

The employee was taken to the hospital to be treated for an irritated throat and arm, and the suspect was arrested for aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.
