Forget those theoretical arguments about who would win a fight in a Superman/Batman brawl. A real life fight of costumed heroes happened in Time Square yesterday, but the cops won.
According to the NY Post, Maksim Katsnelson, 23, of The Bronx, decided to dress up as Superman and spend the day in Time Square with his friend, Frank Frisoli, who dressed as Batman. Police say they approached Superman and asked him if he had a license to “perform” as Superman in Time Square. That’s when Kat nelson “freaked out” and threw the first punch at an officer.
“The Man of Steel didn’t go down with just two officers, it took seven officers!” witness Ryan McCormick said. “He was putting up a good fight. Little kids were like, ‘Mommy, it’s Superman!’ ”
The Maine resident, who has been visiting the city for two weeks, said the two had dressed up as the super heroes for laughs.
“We were just having a good time,” Frisoli said.
Witnessess say that Batman was handcuffed to a chair as seven police officers struggled to apprehend Superman.
Batman was released for non-violence. Incredibly, he walked off with another costumed friend–the Statue of Liberty.

Pretty soon we’ll have to have a license to be!
That’s fucking fuck up!! And to think that I’m moving up there in a few weeks! I guess I better get all my licenses and permits in order just in case.
