If you asked male supermodel Jaime Dornan about his success, he’d have you believe he’s just a struggling actor–not the most in demand face in men’s fashion.

The 27-year-old Irish hottie has rep’d countless boldface name brands for the past seven years, most recently his wet-and-wild Calvin Klein campaign with Eva Mendes. You may also remember his bit part as Kirsten Dunst’s rugged lover in Marie Antoinette.

The NY Post chatted up the stud during Men’s Fashion Week in Milan, and Dornan dished on his indifference of the modeling world, and the perils of being beautiful:

“I wanted to be an actor, and this happened,” he adds. “Acting is still very much my focus, but there is quite a massive stigma attached to someone who’s modeled as much [as I have].”
