Dream sequence ladden mind-f*ck flick Vanilla Sky has been voted the most confusing film of all time. It saw Tom Cruise alongside Cameron Diaz (in her BEST work), who played a d*ck hungry psycho chick who disfigured Cruise’s character in a car crash. He subsequently struggled with having a fug face and blah blah blah, we don’t know if it was all a dream or not or if he was dead.
Watch this scene and tell me if it leaves you scratching your head or with a big smile (I suspect it’ll be the latter):
And in this WTF moment, Tom Cruise is on top of Cameron Diaz doing something that he says he doesn’t completely understand. I think it might be sex, but I’ll let you decide:
Here’s the rest of the list:
1. Vanilla Sky
2. Mulholland Drive
3. Donnie Darko (for you Darko fans, checkĀ this site for a thorough explanation)
4. The Matrix Revolutions
5. Memento
6. Twelve Monkeys
7. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
8. 2001: A Space Odyssey
9. Revolver
10. A Clockwork Orange

I don’t understand how this movie is confusing. I actually really love this movie, and this movie made me fall in love with Penelope Cruz (who i loathed before). Tom Cruise’s face is disfigured by the accident caused by Cameron Diaz. He is suicidal and depressed, so he decided to cryofreeze himself in hopes that in the future he can be “fixed.” The movie is essentially a dream and he is still alive but it’s just a dream. In the end he opts to “wake up” and live the “real life.” This movie was quite interesting in Spanish “Open Your Eyes,” but aesthetically beautiful as Vanilla Sky.
