A South Carolina woman was arrested after deputies responded to a disgruntled customer’s tip that she was running a strip club for teens out of her mobile home.
Gwendolyn Lowery, 27, was charged with eight counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one liquor law violation.
According to reports, authorities arrived at the residence on Sunday, March 20, and discovered the trailer’s living room had a stripper pole, where the suspect had been serving alcohol and performing for teens, ages 12-19, including eight juveniles.
Police say Lowery had circulated fliers about the event, calling it a “hush party,” and had a price list that had lap dances sold for $5, and “VIP” sessions were $25.
The disgruntled customer tipped authorities because he “had paid $25 and didn’t get what he wanted.”
