A Florida man who was found at the bottom of a pool is now on life support after a good Samaritan pulled him out and contacted paramedics. Investigators have not been able to identify the man and are asking anyone with information to come forward. They have released this sketch–possibly of what he might look like in happier times or as a King of the Hill character–to the media.
I think we all know who is probably responsible for this beautiful Jennifer Aniston portrait. He must spent like three hours shading the upper lip.
British artist Susan Collis’ ‘Since I Fell For You’ features a nearly barren room filled with discarded nails, a bucket, a broom, a chair, and wood scattered across the floor. It’s being called deep thinking, high concept art at UK’s Ikon Gallery, but patrons are calling it Britain’s worst art exhibition instead.
“Conceptual art is one thing but this is just ridiculous,” cried 40-year-old Graham Whitehouse. “I just think it’s a big con, I walked in and I thought ‘this isn’t finished yet’ – I felt cheated. I just cannot believe money is spent on this kind of thing.”
The gallery’s curators have a different view, however. The description reads: “The wit behind British artist Susan Collis’ work lies in the time-consuming effort involved in her production of useful looking useless objects, redundant or surplus to requirements, that disclose their true nature on closer scrutiny.”
Another visitor couldn‘t believe her eyes when she saw the artwork. “I walked in and thought I was in the wrong room,” said 24-year-old Hannah Taylor.
“It looked like they were just in the process of putting it together and the decorators had gone to lunch or something. I think she’s started it, got bored and left her work half finished.” She added: “I feel cheated, I have been to many galleries up and down the country and this has got to be the worst exhibition I have ever seen.”

Amber Rose channels Grace Jones in an incredible pose inspired by Jean-Paul Goude’s iconic ’80s photo. The image was featured on Kanye West’s new Web site, KanyeWest.com, launched yesterday. His site appears to be mostly artsy–and heavily photo driven, unlike his KanyeUniverseCity.com known for its ALL CAPS blabberings.
What do you think? HOT, right? GlobalGrind suggests that Photoshop played a heavy hand in the image, as Amber’s pose is (mostly) humanly impossible without props. The original image of Grace Jones, shot by her then-lover graphic designer/photographer Goude, was pieced together after snapping Jones in a variety of positions, using boxes to lift her body. On making the photo, he explained:
“Unless you are extraordinarily supple, you cannot do this arabesque. The main point is that Grace couldn’t do it, and that’s the basis of my entire work: creating a credible illusion.”
And this isn’t the first time Amber Rose has paid homage to Grace Jones’ work. In the September 2009 issue of Complex, she was featured in a Jones themed shoot.

The most perfect lady for P.Diddy was unveiled at Madame Tussauds on Tuesday in NYC. Only she doesn’t smile very much, and she kind of looks pissed off. On the bright side, rumor has it she’s totally okay with giving up the ol’ backdoor. She two glasses of Ciroc and this bish is good times. *WINK*
And as a side note, don’t they perfectly resemble theater masks?
A man stands behind a well-endowed traditional sex totem sculpture at the annual Sexual Culture Festival in Guangzhou, China. They make ‘em like that in China? Just give me a one-way ticket and some lip gloss, please.
