The best thing to come out of the G8 Summit was this most awesome photo of Obama “checking out an ass.” But there’s more to the story, as Good Morning America’s Chris Cuomo explains:

Just how awkward is this clip of High School Musical’s Ashley Tisdale on a Spanish-language chat show? She reluctantly agreed to dance with Obama–though, in a complete shock, she went for a striptease style of dance as opposed to a Venetian waltz like I expected.

I’m most surprised to see that when two of the world’s fakest substances collide (Ashley Tisdale’s nose and Fauxbama), the Earth doesn’t implode. I heard that watching Timecop. Just saying.

Michelle Obama appears on the cover of Vogue’s March issue in a Jason Wu design–the same designer who created her inauguration gown. In the issue, the first lady is featured in pieces from her own wardrobe by boldface names like J. Crew and Narciso Rodriguez. Photographer Annie Leibovitz snapped Mrs. Obama. From Wall Street Journal:

• Mrs. Obama addresses the fashion fishbowl that she now lives in, given that blogs and media are tracking every sartorial decision she makes. “I’m not going to pretend that I don’t care about it,” she said to Vogue, according to the AP. “But I also have to be very practical. In the end, someone will always not like what you wear — people just have different tastes.”

It’s just like MTV’s “The Hills” or “The City,” only more articulate!

Newsweek magazine decide to create an MTV-style web series spoof dubbed “The District” — it provides voiceovers from a Barack Obama impersonator to real-life news clips. All of which are edited like a shitty, shallow reality series fit for the iPod generation masses.

Now I don’t have to rely on “World News Tonight with Charlie Gibson.”

I love how he points out that his “BFs Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden were frenemies,” but they are like totally cool now. It’s soooo MTV.

This is a half-meter resolution image of the US Capitol and National Mall taken by the GeoEye-1 satellite this morning during President Obama’s inauguration. That sure is a lot of people.
