5 other people Kim Kardashian is starting to look like

90809A1_KARDASHIAN_B-GR_02

Don’t blame Kim Kardashian for dying her hair blond–it’s pretty obvious that the sudden change is just a coping mechanism for dealing with her recent break up with Reggie Bush.
And it’s only a matter of time before the raven-haired beauty goes back to her former self. Her rich, black hair made her stand out in a crowd of Hollywood faux-blondes. In fact, she’s starting to blend in and look like so many other fame whores right now. So, I present, 5 other people Kim Kardashian is starting to look like:

Separated at birth: Whitney Houston, Tina Turner in ‘Mad Max’

whitney_houston_new_album

Okay, so I know the comparison is waaay off. But just hear me out: The new Whitney Houston cover album art for I Look to You, due Sept. 1, shares a fierce, ’80s-esque resemblance to a Mad Max‘d Tina Turner. Both just scream “look at my big ass shoulders…my big ass hair…and my big ass earrings.” [Two Snaps Up and a Twist]

Just hear me out,
although you may not be able to understand her, Carmen Miranda’s performance of “Rebola a Bola” in “Weekend in Havana” is just the best thing ever.

German forklift safety video

Just hear me out,
This video is weird. I mean really weird on all kinds of eff’d up levels, and it’s perfect if you share my same sick sense of humor. In this German training video on how NOT to operate a forklift, you’ll see a lot of side-splitting humor. HA, get it! Bah dum bum pssssh. The yuks begin at 3:40 then 4:40 and it keeps on rolling. You’ll love it, I promise. The scene pictured is from 6:25.

‘28 Days Later’ Sexual Rage Edition

Just hear me out,
This is an incredibly well put-together student video that spoofs Danny Boyle’s zombie horror flick “28 Days Later” (one of my favorite movies btw). According to the creators, “No one in this is sober, literally no one. We wrote and shot this whole thing in one night and we are really happy with it.” They did a great job, just watch it all the way through (It gets good after about two minutes in–so stay with it). I promise you’ll love it, especially if you’ve seen the original film. This spoof takes place in a frat house where everyone gets infected with sexual rage, and one girl is out to stop them. Watch the original “28 Days Later” trailer in the jump.

5 reasons to see ‘Boomerang’

Get your Netflix queue ready! If you haven’t seen Eddie Murphy’s “Boomerang,” you must. It’s got many lolz moments and features Eddie Murphy at a time when he actually made funny and clever movies–instead of the dumb shit he churns out now. The rom-com flick is a cat-and-mouse game about a playboy advertising exec (Murphy) who relentlessly pursues his boss (Robin Givens). Eventually he finds himself heartbroken when Givens turns out to be a “use him and lose him” type of gal. Yada, yada, he finds himself in the end, and gets with the “good girl” played by Halle Berry. Here are the best moments, according to what’s uploaded on Youtube:

Grace Jones as a total FREAK!
Grace Jones has an awesome turn as a model/spokesperson for Eddie Murphy’s company in this movie. Check her out:

Eartha Kitt as a cougar
Our dearly departed Eartha Kitt plays the founder of a beauty product line that Eddie Murphy’s company represents. He believes that by sleeping with her, he’ll get a promotion:

In this scene, he realizes that Robin Givens was given the promotion and Eartha Kitt has no authority over company decisions. He ended up sleeping with her the night before, and runs into her in the lobby the next day:

It’s hammertime
Eddie Murphy plays a womanizer who looks for any excuse to validate his playboy behavior. In this scene, he sleeps with an incredibly sweet, beautiful woman who just so happens to have feet that are not up to par. A very funny moment:

Halle Berry and David Allen Grier are great
A pre Oscar-winning Halle Berry does a great job with funnyman David Allen Grier. The two of them have amazing chemistry together, and Halle Berry is effortlessly adorable and funny in this film — who knew? It’s a surprise to me that she doesn’t do more romantic comedies because she’s terrific:

David Allen Grier has embarrassing parents
There’s a funny dinner scene with Martin Lawrence, Eddie Murphy, Halle Berry and David Allen Grier’s character’s parents. I couldn’t find the exact movie clip on Youtube, but someone sweded the film and filmed himself in the role of David Allen Grier’s father. He’s spot-on and this scene is exactly as it is in the movie, save for the sweded actor who’s obviously not in the film. But you get the idea:

Kissable commercial
This commercial stands out in my mind because it’s so overtly sexual. The advertising business plays a large role in the film, so you should see the commercial. Unfortunately, it’s dubbed in French, but it’s very self-explanatory:
