The Backstreet Boys are gearing up to release their eighth album which marks a huge milestone: their 20th anniversary. With the re-joining of original member Kevin Richardson, it would seem as if the boys have definitely proved they’ve lasted long until adulthood.

Except for the odd moment when they decide to act out their inner Johnny Knoxville and hit another member in the balls with a baseball bat.

During a photo shoot with famed photographer Tyler Shields, members Nick Carter and AJ McLean decided to have some fun with the sports prop that was all caught on video — and eventually uploaded to Shields’ YouTube account.

I suddenly hear three words from one of their biggest hits in my head: “Tell me why….”
