Well, I guess it’s two things, really — but this has nothing to do with that other thing they both seem to like.

Both Rihanna and Justin Bieber both cancelled concert appearances over the weekend.

She cited laryngitis for her pulling out of a Sunday night show in Boston; his was due to “unforeseen circumstances” that gets in the way of a show in Portugal this coming Tuesday (according to the Wikipedia page, it claims “low ticket sales” are the reason for the cancellation).

While Riri has apologized and promised the TD Stadium show will be rescheduled (and a stop in Baltimore on Tuesday is still on), the Biebs’ reason is a little stranger considering he is taking the stage at the Pavilhao Atlantico in Lisbon on Monday evening (it was a two-day stop — and if Beliebers are as obsessed as they seem, I don’t buy the “not buying” of this).

The 19-year-old seemed to be fine today: he posted “#SundayFunday” on his Twitter (according to his Wikipedia, he’s been off since the final 02 show in London this past Friday).

With this unforeseen time off, maybe he should fly back to America and get his car keys back from Lil’ Twist, who was once again seen driving around one of his cars over the weekend.
