Hair Care Gone Wrong

ToriHair

Word to the wise: if you’re going to create a YouTube tutorial on how to do something, you might at least want to practice before filming — or else something bad can happen.

Or in this case, something hilarious.

YouTuber Tori Locklear decided to show her subscribers how to properly curl their hair in a DIY video that didn’t end in the way she hoped — she somehow managed to burn a huge lock of her hair right off with her hot comb.

And the camera kept rolling to catch her shocked reaction.

The video is spreading like wildfire (see what I did there) and even Tori is finding the fun in it, creating a Facebook page and explaining what went wrong.

“So a hairdresser told me it was definitely the TRESemme spray I put on my hair”, she posted on the page.

Check out her misfortune and what will probably be the highlight of your day after the jump!

Clive Davis vs. Kelly Clarkson: Kelly’s Got (Outspoken) Back-Up

HowardSternKelly

Seems like Kelly Clarkson isn’t the only who thinks someone should keep his foot out of his mouth.

Following the fracas caused between her and record exec Clive Davis regarding his hand in her early career, shock jock Howard Stern has stepped to the plate to call out the 80-year-old music legend in his treatment of the American Idol star in his new memoir, The Soundtrack to My Life.

On his radio show Wednesday morning, the America’s Got Talent judge expressed that he found it “sickening when management guys like to set the record straight about how f–king creative and what geniuses they are.”

He backed up Kelly’s longevity in the music industry and attacked Davis’ (alleged) actions regarding her songwriting skills.

“I think she has an amazing voice, and the girl has worked hard to get to where she is,” he offered. “I don’t understand Clive Davis’ motivation for knocking this chick down.”

“And, like, this guy’s trying to diminish what she does”, he continued. “Doesn’t he have enough in life? Can’t he sort of tell his story without f–king degrading her and putting her down?”

Strong words — but he has a point.

Check out the clip after the jump.

Welcome To The World, Bash!

SebastianBashWiz

Looks like someone is already taking the “doting father” role to heart and it couldn’t be more precious.

Check out a sweet image of rapper Wiz Khalifa holding his newborn son, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz (nicknamed “The Bash”) which was shared by new mother Amber Rose on her Instagram today.

“Best daddy ever…” Amber wrote with the adorable shot. “Up with the baby so Muva can go back to sleep :-)

Amber, of course, finally gave birth to her little one yesterday by water birth, which was said to be inspired by talk show host’s Ricki Lake’s documentary, The Business of Being Born.

Once again, congratulations to the new family — and get some rest, Amber!

Mr. JT and Mr. Jay-Z: The Summer Tour

JustinJayZ

Looks like the rumors have been confirmed!

“Suit and Tie” collaborators Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z are indeed going on a tour together this Summer, entitled The Legends of the Stadium Summer Tour. The twosome are set to hit up 12 cities all around North America and Canada, including Toronto, New York and Miami between July 17 and August 18.

Justin himself slightly spilled the beans right before his epic Grammy performance earlier this month.

Tickets are set for sale on February 28, although the NYC dates (which include Yankee Stadium in my hometown of the Bronx) will be set for a later date.

The “Blade Runner” Murder Case: Freedom For Now

Oscar Pistorius File Photos

Call it blind luck or the fact that the lead investigator indeed messed up with his sketchy actions, but Olympian Oscar Pistorius was granted bail early this morning — and considering his salary, the set price of $112,771 seems rather low for someone charged with killing his girlfriend in a fit of rage on Valentine’s Day.

The disgraced sportsman and members of Reeva Steenkamp’s family were all in the South African courtroom when the ruling came down, which was met with cheers from Pistorius’ family and supporters.

The judge wasn’t worried that the 26-year-old might flee the country — saying that going through any metal detector with his prosthetic legs would set them off, as well as his celebrity status and added that he didn’t believe Oscar would kill again, saying that it wasn’t proven he had a “propensity for violence”.

Before ruling, the judge asked the prosecutor an interesting question — If Pistorius’ story was that he believed an intruder was in his bathroom, why didn’t he “stage” a break-in to make his story more believable?  The prosecutor conceded, “The fact that we have only one survivor of that tragic night is difficult for the state.”

The prosecutor argued … proving premeditation doesn’t mean Pistorius had to plan the murder the night before … “He planned it that night when she locked herself in [the bathroom].

Lawyers for the fallen track star are asking for charges to be lowered to “culpable homicide”, which would mean that the shooting of Steenkamp was nothing more than a mistake.
