Quote of the Millennium?

6th Annual Stand Up For Heroes - Arrivals

“I was just a jerk. It’s very liberating when you finally realize it’s impossible to make everyone like you. I wanted everybody to like me. I thought I was one shuck and jive away in every direction.”

- douche of all time, John Mayer, finally realizing those comments regarding his sex life and his overall persona made him, well — the douche of all time.

RuPaul Spreads It All Over

PeanutButterRuPaul

So what do you get when you mix an awesome hip-hop beat, dancers shaking their ass all over the place and appearances by some infamous half naked people?

Alright, you normally get your normal type of rap video.

But what if that awesome beat is provided by a drag queen and all of those dancers happen to be men in some nothing-left-to-the-imagination underwear?

Well, you get an epic video by the awesome RuPaul.

Check out her newest clip for the song “Peanut Butter” featuring Big Freedia.

Oh, yeah — this is the epitome of everything NSFW is about, so proceed at your own risk.

Miley Cyrus Ain’t Taking Perez’s Crap

2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival - Day 1

And today, I suddenly have a little more respect for this young woman.

It’s becoming apparent that as the years go on, former Disney icon Miley Cyrus is more about letting life come naturally to her. She’s finally doing the music she wants to do, leaving her long recognizable locks by the wayside and kicking it with the ganja (on occasion).

But one thing she will jump to the forefront on: her relationship with hottie fiance, Liam Hemsworth.

Following a story where she was apparently seen with former Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick that was reported by so-called Mr. Now Nice Guy Perez Hilton, the 20-year-old jumped on him via her Twitter and cut him down a couple of pegs.

“@perezhilton hope you find love one day but can you not f–k with mine,” Cyrus tweeted. “I’ve never been with Ed W in my life. I was at the studio last night working on my record and never left with anyone other than my assistant. What happened to your big enlightenment… what happened to your promise to spread love not lies. And to be a decent human being with values and morals??? Dude u ask for people to respect you and your relationships I demand the same thing.”

She closed it out as nicely as possible, expressing that he could “feel free to ask me whatever u want but I can’t tolerate lies. Thanks for understand. Blessings x.”

Epic comments are epic.

Perez responded the only way he knew how — by screencapping the entire conversation and confirming that he was wrong.

And Miley wins by awesomeness!

You can check out the full convo after the jump.

1D3D: The Teaser Trailer

1D3D

If you heard any random screams from young girls yesterday, no worries: they were probably just excited about this.

The first teaser of the One Direction movie (tentatively titled 1D3D) was released on the UK morning show Daybreak yesterday morning (or late Thursday evening for us).

There’s nothing much to take a high notice of in the short 30-second preview, but it’s sure to make their legion of Directioners very excited.

OK, I was too!

The sweetest moment: member Liam Payne expresses his love for his bandmates by saying, “I always wanted a little brother — and now, I’ve got 4 of them.”

Aw!

Check out the clip for yourself after the jump. The movie is set to be released on August 30.

Christina Applegate Quits Show

20 Magic Minutes: A Family Celebration Benefiting Christina Applegate's Right Action for Women Chartitable Initiative Hosted by LG Electronics

When a show loses it’s frontrunner and it’s main attraction, you might as well what to cut the cord.

Following news that the series was headed in a “new direction” for it’s season 2 back end, actress Christina Applegate decided to no longer be a part of the NBC comedy, Up All Night.

“It’s been a great experience working  on Up All Night, but the show has taken a different creative direction and I decided it was best for me to move on to other endeavors,” Applegate said in a statement. “Working with Lorne Michaels has been a dream come true and I am grateful he brought me into his TV family.  I will miss the cast, producers and crew, and wish them the best always.”

It comes only a month after the creator and executive producer, Emily Spivey, decided to leave the series when it was announced the show would become one with a laugh track, as opposed to a single-camera series.

Something tells me we won’t be seeing a season 3.
