Does anyone actually realize how freaking cold it was in Washington, DC on Monday (it was the lower 30′s to mid-40′s, by the way)?
If they did, they probably wouldn’t make such a big deal over Beyoncé lip syncing the National Anthem at the Presidential Inauguration (singing in cold weather is not good on a person’s vocal chords) — but alas, she did and now, everyone is.
On Tuesday, the director of the U.S. Marine Corps Band, Col. Michael J. Colburn, confirmed that the singer used a prerecorded rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” but justified it by explaining that all music is prerecorded in the event of bad weather.
He also added that because Beyoncé was busy gearing up for her Super Bowl halftime performance, she didn’t have ample time to rehearse with the band, and so organizers opted to play the prerecorded track while the band “created a visual simulation of playing.”
I’m the first one to knock someone down a peg when needed, Bey included (that whole songwriting credit thing — where she has a habit of adding or changing a word to place her name in the listing — is one of my favorites to point out), but let’s be real: even on someone’s best day, they can’t even touch her vocals on her worst.
How about we let this go, people?

I get what you are saying but once you hear what Kelly Clarkson did LIVE – then it’s just a big ole excuse for Beyonce being a lightweight.
Beyonce has lip- synced more in her career than she has actually sang. Not surprised this time either.
