Is there really a story to be told when the actual events are nothing more than… well, a story?
Director / screenwriter J.J. Abrams seems to think so and has decided to bring forth Lance Armstrong and all of his current troubles to movie screens in the near future.
The biopic will reportedly be based on New York Times sportswriter Juliet Macur’s upcoming book Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong, to which the Lost producer and Paramount Pictures secured the movie rights, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The book is scheduled to be published in June.
Well, if Scary Movie 5 can somehow bring in some kind of draw, why can’t this one?
I would call Matthew McConaughey for the obvious lead role, but since he and Lance aren’t on the best of terms right now — he should totally do it anyway.
