I would be lying if I didn’t find a bit of joy of someone actually being punished by karma for actions like this.

OK — a lot of joy.

Following a third domestic violence charge in less than three months, actor Edward Furlong found terminated from a job — he was fired from the film Other Plans, a romantic comedy, following his arrest.

Oh, and this was the second time it’s happened.

A letter was sent to Eddie’s representatives claiming they no longer wanted to work with him.

The letter states, “Given Edwards current status as being in jail awaiting arraignment on two charges of criminal domestic violence … we are no longer able to engage his services for the film as per our agreement.”

Producer Joe Eckardt [told] TMZ the movie’s already “suffered way too long waiting for [Eddie] to be clear of his legal issues … It’s time to move on now and make our film without him.”

He’ll be replaced by Jason Mewes, mostly known as “Jay” of Jay and Silent Bob, Kevin Smith’s infamous twosome.

Furlong was first fired from another movie back in November when he was arrested at LAX for hitting his girlfriend there, too.

So, did anyone else watch the season 12 premiere of American Idol last night? Did you see the loads of talent that hit the stage? No?

Well, how about the horrible singers that always end up in front of the judges? Still no?

Well, did you see Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj consistently attempt to shade each other?

Yeah, I thought as much.

Well, while those two were acting kind of childish (and honestly hilarious), another person connected to the series announced their big child news: former judge Kara DioGiardi is having a baby!

She and her husband, Mike McCuddy are having a son via a surrogate. They’ve tried for years naturally (it was the main reason she left the show a while back — the stress of it all wasn’t helping) and felt this was the best option.

“I wanted a child and there was no way I could get pregnant under the stress of eighteen-hour work days and live TV,” she wrote about her decision to quit the show. “Leaving was painful and there will always be a part of me that wanted to stay. But my desire to be in control of my destiny was larger than my need to be a household name.”

They’ve even picked a name out: Greyson James Carroll McCuddy.

She may have lost a couple of huge opportunities in love and television, but someone will always crave Britney Spears — and this time around, it’s three very huge places in Las Vegas.

The plans are still being netted out for her possible residency, but seems like she’s definitely going to find a good place for her to do her thing.

Britney was in serious negotiations with one of the Caesars properties to perform several nights a week on a regular basis, as well as make regular appearances at several clubs and pool events.  Well, we just found out … since [TMZ] posted [their] story, two other properties — at least one not associated with Caesars — have thrown their hat in the ring.

As for that $15 million she was making from the X-Factor, I doubt she’ll worry about that — considering people are saying she could take in as much as $100 million from the Vegas deal.

Get that money, girl!

Actor Conrad Bain, best known as the loving adoptive father of two young boys on the iconic 80′s television series Diff’rent Strokes, passed away yesterday. He was 89 years old.

Bain’s family says he died in a retirement community from natural causes.

“He was an amazing person. He was a lot like [his character] Mr. Drummond”, said he daughter Jennifer, “but much more interesting in real life. He was an amazing father.”

In real life, Bain is survived by his four children (three sons and Jennifer). In television life, he will be remembered forever.
