A Spice Girls Story: Viva Forever!

The.Spice.Girls.Story.Viva.Forever

They’re still what I want; what I really, really want.

Over the Christmas holiday in the UK, Brits were able to tune into a special documentary based around the fast times of one of music’s most infamous groups, The Spice Girls.

The hour-long doc, entitled A Spice Girls Story: Viva Forever! also centered around the conception of the musical Viva Forever, based off of the songs the five girls created over their three albums with interviews with the members and musical directors and writers, including Ab Fab‘s amazing Jennifer Saunders.

If you’re still a fan of these girls, you’ve probably heard all of these words before, but it’s nice not only to catch up, but to get a good glimpse of the women today, although there is some weirdness involved (such as Melanie C. admitting that she never wanted to take part in their 2007 reunion tour, as she still had “issues” to deal with and the girls’ posing for pictures following the musical’s premiere — with Posh Spice/Victoria Beckham obviously absent).

Check out the entire documentary after the jump!

Amy Winehouse Did Die Of What We Already Knew She Died From

Amy Winehouse at the Brush Tent at SXSW

So this was for nothing.

The second inquiry into the tragic young passing of Amy Winehouse has been concluded and even though the first one was deemed to be incorrect considering the coroner did not have the qualifications to make any claims, it turns out it wasn’t needed whatsoever — Amy did in deed die of alcohol poisoning, or as they said, “death by misadventure”.

The latest findings by another pathologist, Dr. Shirley Radcliffe, reach a similar conclusion that Winehouse died of “death by misadventure,” which simply means her death was an accident.

According to CNN, Radcliffe noted in her verdict that the beehive-wearing songstress’s blood-alchol level was 416 milligrams per 100 milliliters of blood—way above the 350 milligrams that’s considered a lethal level (it’s worth noting the legal limit to drive in Britain is 80 milligrams of alcohol).

Amy died six months ago at the age of 27. Let’s hope she can truly rest peacefully now.

He Hit Me… And It Felt Like A Kiss

dina_lohan_exclusive_1_130107_360

Because Lindsay‘s overall nature needs some kind of starting point, her mother Dina has given undeniable proof that her ex-husband Michael Lohan used her as a punching bag way back in the day.

Entertainment Tonight has the nearly 25-year-old shots of the much younger Dina sporting quite a shiner underneath her left eye (some while holding baby LiLo), which she claims the volatile patriarch gave her.

In 1986, Dina and Michael dined in Cold Spring Harbor, but as the night warmed up, Michael started drinking heavily and snorted coke. She described this incident – when she was beaten by Michael – in shocking and perturbing detail, “When we left he was drunk-driving and suddenly he started screaming, ‘Get the f*** out o the car!’” He then clenched his fist and punched Dina in the face. Medical records support this claim and prove that Dina was being treated at the hospital for “blunt trauma to the face” on the 4th of December, 1986.

It gets worse… she also claims that he force himself on her in another instance. You can read about that after the jump.

No One Knows If Britney Is Coming Back To X-Factor

2009 Teen Choice Awards - Arrivals

Does anyone know what’s going on anymore?

There seems to be a continual back-and-forth of is-she-or-is-she-not,  regarding Britney Spears‘ inclusion of season 3 of America’s The X-Factor.

We know that L.A. Reid is definitely out as he quit — but what about Britney, who might be (hopefully) preparing to release her eighth studio album around then?

Although it was rumored that she definitely wasn’t (even though she said herself at one point that she definitely was), at the network’s TCA (Television Critic’s Association) presentation yesterday, FOX president Kevin Reilly seemed as confused as everyone else was.

“For next year, I don’t know. [Simon Cowell] hasn’t talked about any of this going forward”, although he did mention positively that he wouldn’t mind her returning, saying he was “on board” with that possibility.

He realized that Britney’s whole “you’re amazing” way of judging wasn’t a huge hit with viewers but felt that her presence overall ” went very, very well”.

“It was fraught with unknowns. I think Britney did a really good job. She came on, people remain fascinated by her and always will be. People got to know her a little bit, maybe some people were waiting for more drastic displays of some nature that never came. She tucked in really nicely on that bench.”

A Hit and A Miss For One Direction

KissYouPreview

Depending on who you are in (my favorite) pop group One Direction, yesterday was either a truly awesome day or probably a really good one.

If you were four out of the five, you probably were enjoying the release of your newest video, “Kiss You”. Originally delayed from a December premiere date, the finally shared clip shows the boys in the midst of some crazy fun during some even crazier photo shoots.

There’s the boys “driving” down a scenic route, the boys skiing through a “winter wonderland” and the boys surfing.

Shirtless.

All five. Shirtless.

You can check out that video here, which has garnered over 6 million (!) views in 24 hours.

But, if you were curly haired Harry Styles, you might not have been in the greatest of moods at all — considering you were just added to the long list of boys dumped by America’s reigning sweetheart.

Y’all can read about that after the jump and after you all stop salivating over their bodies in the vid.
