The infamous runaway, actor Nick Stahl probably wishes he wasn’t found yesterday evening, when police raided an adult store and caught the 33-year-old pulling a Fred Willard in public.

According to the LAPD, Stahl was, er, fingered by undercover vice officers during a routine check at the store shortly after 8 p.m., where the actor was discovered inside a booth viewing a pornographic film and allegedly committing the act in question.

He was arrested, charged with a misdemeanor act of lewd contact and released not long after. He called the entire thing a “misunderstanding” because you know, it’s really hard to figure out what someone is doing when their stuff is out and their hand is on it at a porn store.

In an ironic nod, the same police officer who busted him before he — well, you know — was the same one who caught fellow actor Fred Willard in the actearlier this year at an adult theater.
