Happy Holidays From TP… and *NSYNC!

So with Christmas fast approaching, I’m looking forward to all of the drinking festivities, smiles and more drinking fun.

Wherever you are, may you all have an awesome and wonderful Christmas (or end of Hanukkah or Kwanzaa). Unless something massive happens and I’m not too hungover, my posts will more than likely resume on Wednesday.

And of course, I couldn’t leave you all without an awesome Christmas throwback. Feel free to relive one of my favorite holiday videos, “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” from *NSYNC (and Gary Coleman — R.I.P.).

C’mon, y’all. You know you remember every word!

Hope you all get everything you want!

Ne-Yo’s Non-Baby Mama Sues — Seriously!

In the weirdest story you’ll hear in all of your life, a woman who did NOT have Ne-Yo‘s love child is planning to sue the R&B superstar for calling her out and pretty much showing who she really was to the entire world.

Back in the day, Ne-Yo had a relationship with a woman by the name of Jesseca White. During their time together, she became pregnant and believed the singer was the father to her child. Turns out she was creeping around and he actually wasn’t.

Following their separation, the two came to a reasonable decision: he would give her $575,000, she would remove his name off of the birth certificate and a confidentiality clause was written out where neither side could bad mouth each other.

Except someone did speak — NeYo. And not to just anyone, but to VH1. More of the crazy after the jump.

Spike Lee vs. “Django Unchained”

For a movie that isn’t released until tomorrow, it’s sure getting a lot of attacks.

Jumping on the very same train Katt Williams did just last week (although probably not as crazily), director Spike Lee is taking the upcoming flick, Django Unchained to task, calling it out as “disrespectful” and calling it’s producer, Quentin Tarantino everything but racist for creating the movie.

“I can’t speak on it ’cause I’m not gonna see it”, he told VIBE Magazine in a recent interview. “All I’m going to say is that it’s disrespectful to my ancestors. That’s just me … I’m not speaking on behalf of anybody else.”

He also went on his Twitter to give his thoughts in all capitals: “American Slavery Was Not A Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western. It Was A Holocaust. My Ancestors Are Slaves.Stolen From Africa.I Will Honor Them.”

The movie has been called controversial by most, including it’s use of the “n-word” over 100 times in it’s nearly 3-hour timeframe.

However, in an odd turn of events, he (like Katt) gets hypocritical whether Tarantino has the right to use the word at all in his movies.

“Let the record state that I never said that he cannot use that word”, he stated in a 1997 interview regarding another Tarantino release, Jackie Brown. “I’ve used that word in many of my films — but I think something is wrong with him.”

Something is definitely wrong — but I don’t think those who are also part of the same problem are seeing it. Just sayin’.

Vote For Vinny?

Well, that escalated quickly.

Jersey Shore officially ended last week and while many of it’s stars will continue to live on in their spin-offs, Vinny Guagdagnino (the somewhat calm one) thinks he has what it takes to make it to the top — of the political chain.

Coming out of a WeHo nightclub a few nights ago, the 25-year-old shared that he would continue on in his law school studies, but not to become a lawyer.

“I want to get into politics,” he said to a random pap. “So I was gonna go to law school to get involved in politics.”

“I know this sounds stumbling coming out of a club … but I actually have a brain.”

The thing is, he might not be lying: he says he graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA.

And he was smart enough to quit the show that one time — until he came back.

Stranger things have happened.

Kate Middleton’s Receptionist Had Suicidal History

As everyone figured, there might be a bit more to this story.

Jacintha Saldanha, the receptionist who unknowingly transferred two radio DJs to Kate Middleton‘s hospital room and eventually committed suicide over the mishap had problems way before the incident ever occurred, including two attempts to take her own life last year.

According to London’s Daily Mail, she had overdosed on pills last December and when that didn’t work, she attempted to throw herself from a building 9 days afterward.

According to the report, Saldanha spent several days in an intensive care unit to recover, underwent psychiatric treatment and got scripts for a slew of antidepressants.

This definitely changes the possibility of the two DJs (Michael Christian and Mel Greig) from being charged in relation to her death. Either way, there is no happy ending here.
