Even sitting on a judge’s chair and repeating the word “amazing“, Britney Spears is still making a whole lot of bank.

The Femme Fatale singer brought in a bunch of money over this year, according to the Forbes list of highest-ranking female singers. From May of last year until this year, the 31-year-old made $58 million, thanks to the $15 million contract she brought in for her X-Factor gig, which she’s returning to next year.

Also, her very first fragrance Curious is still a huge seller and is currently the highest selling celebrity perfume of all time as of May 2011.

She barely edged over Taylor Swift, who made a pretty decent $57 million and Rihanna, whose Unapologetic way of life gave her $53 million.

Lady GaGa and Katy Perry close out the top five with $52 million and $45 million, respectively.

Who runs the world bank? Girls.

Who needs Kurt Cobain anyway?

In a shock heard ’round the world, the surviving members of 90′s grunge group Nirvana (Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl) took the stage of the 12-12-12 benefit concert for Hurricane Sandy last night with a new lead singer: legendary Beatles member Paul McCartney.

Many people weren’t enthused by that action (including Kurt’s hot mess wife, Courtney Love), but it was solely done for the sake of helping hurricane relief victims. As an added touch, the newly formed group recorded a new song, “Cut Me Some Slack” for the upcoming movie Sound City — which is what was performed last night.

Rap pioneer Lil’ Kim shared her best holiday cheer with her Twitter followers in a new shot.

“On the first day of Xmas, my Queen Bee gave to me: An exclusive never before seen shot just for U”, she added with the interesting picture.

Yeah… I’m just gonna leave this to you, people.

Although I thought Halloween was months ago.

She may not be going to jail, but she has nothing much to come home to, either (if she even has that anymore).

Currently broke Lindsay Lohan is probably wishing she took better care of her finances today: a storage unit which is holding loads of her personal items is about to go up for grabs because of an overdue bill of close to $16,000 that has yet to be paid.

Because of the non-payment, the account is now delinquent and cannot be opened until the bill is paid in full. Since she can’t really do that at the moment, the storage company has a right to auction off whatever is inside of it to get their dough.

She has until Christmas to set things right and has allegedly asked family and friends to loan her the money — but no one is doing that.

Maybe she could ask the boys from The Wanted — but then again, that might be a bit too much since she’s pretty much living with them at this point.

I don’t even have anything witty to add to this — it’s just plain revolting.

Two Mexican police officers are on the other side of the law today, being arrested for stealing items and leaking pictures of the gruesome plane crash site of Mexican singer Jenni Rivera.

One of the cops is charged with releasing pictures of personal documents and body parts of the tragic accident which took place early Sunday morning. Their homes were searched and government officials found items belonging to the victims.

Truly heartless. Our thoughts continue to go out to everyone affected by this sad incident.
