Katt Williams Is Wanted — Again

Well, it’s been about two days — which means it’s time for another charge for Katt Williams.

This time, the messy comedian has been issued a bench warrant for not appearing in court over the bar fight that took place last weekend.

It turns out he was supposed to go to court this morning on charges of assault, harassment, and obstruction for his involvement is the melee and lo and behold, he never showed… which makes me wonder why he was released in the first place, but whatever.

A Washington State Attorney rep did say that Katt’s attorney was present, but he wasn’t, due to a so-called “medical issue”. The judge didn’t buy it.

And neither do I.

The Biebs Almost Lost “Jerry”… And His Life

Well, I don’t like the boy, either… but this is a bit much.

Justin Bieber might be wanting to thank God…and also Jesus today after it was revealed he was pretty close to being killed and castrated following his MSG show in New York last month.

A New Mexico news story claims that a convicted killer named Dana Martin attempted to get the help of a fellow inmate named Mark Staake to torture and end the life of the 18-year-old star, although their plans fell through due to the police catching them first.

It’s unclear when the plot was originally hatched, but Staake and his nephew Tanner Ruane — whom Staake had later recruited to help — reportedly planned to execute the murder plan in NYC last month, where Bieber was performing at MSG.

Martin reportedly told police the plan was to kidnap Bieber and his bodyguard and strangle them with paisley ties, Martin’s calling card. Ruane was then going to castrate them.

Martin, who has a tattoo of the Believe singer on his leg, was said to be obsessed with him… apparently, that obsession led to a change of heart and he turned in his accomplices with only a short time to spare:  Staake was arrested in Vermont due to other charges against him, but Ruane had made it all the way to New York. However, the NYPD intercepted him and booked him before he could get close to the star… although he had a pair of pruning shears to do the damage with.

For now, Justin is safe… and so is Jerry.

The Screen Actors Guild 2012 Nominations

The award season officially is underway with the nominations of the 2012 Screen Actors Guild being announced this morning.

Usually seen as a lead-in for who might be taking home an Oscar, the ceremony will take place on January 27th.

The upcoming film adaptation of Les Misérables with Anne Hathaway (who probably isn’t too pleased with the world seeing her lady bits today) tied with two other movies (Silver Linings Playbook and Lincoln) with three nominations each. As for the television side, the fan fave Downton Abbey and the Claire Danes led Homeland, while ABC’s hit, Modern Family beat them both out with one extra nom, bringing it’s tally up to four.

The biggest surprise to me would be Glee, which hasn’t been getting a lot of love from it’s fans lately, taking in a vote for Best Ensemble Cast.

You can check out the full list  nominees after the jump.

2012 In (Google) Review

If it was big, if it was sad, if it was meaningful, you used Google to search for it.

The search engine compiled all of the biggest things people looked up in 2012 in their annual Zeitgeist video and there are some moments for everyone.

Whether it was the amazing feat of Austrian Felix Baumgartner breaking the sound barrier with his jump from space, the obsession everyone had with everyone’s favorite America hater K-Pop rapper, PSY or the sad passing of Whitney Houston, you’re sure to have some kind of emotion with this powerful clip.

Also released was the top 10 searches from America and around the world, which shouldn’t be a surprise – the death of Whitney tops both lists.

Check out the year in retrospect video above… and click on after the jump for both lists of the top 10 Google searches in the States and around the world.
