Pain and Gain, directed by Michael Bay, is based on the true story of two Florida bodybuilders who get involved in a kidnapping plot that goes horribly wrong. Ed Harris, Ken Jeong, Tony Shalhoub, Anthony Mackie, Rebel Wilson and Rob Corddry also join in on the hijinks.

Mexican Superstar Jenni Rivera Dies

Such a heartbreaking tragedy.

In a story that is a bit too eerily connected to yet another singer who lost her life too early, Mexican singer Jenni Rivera was proclaimed dead yesterday afternoon following a plane crash almost immediately following takeoff. She was 43 years old.

Jenni had just finished a concert in Monterrey on Saturday night and was flying with two pilots and five other passengers to nearby Toluca when Mexico’s transportation ministry lost contact with the plane’s radar at 3:15 AM, approximately 61 miles from Monterrey.

The plane was found hours later and there were no survivors.

She leaves behind two children and quite a legacy: she sold nearly 20 million albums worldwide, was recently named one of 25 most powerful women by People en Español and had signed on recently to do a comedy pilot for ABC entitled Jenni.

People may be sadly reminded of the death of another Mexican superstar, Selena Quintanilla-Perez, who was shot by her fan club manager less than a month at her final concert at the Houston Astrodome.

May she rest always.

Elmo Still Helps Us To Count – 4th Accuser Comes Forward

And here you thought the lessons in numbers from Elmo were over.

The story of Kevin Clash‘s sexual past with minors continues to grow as yet another young man; the fourth, if you were wondering, has stepped forward and said that he and Clash had some sexual meet-ups when he was underage.

The current guy, who is going by John Doe as of now, claims that he hooked up Clash in Miami Beach in 1995 or 1996 while he was 16 or 17 and Clash was in his mid ’30s.

Clash allegedly flew the young man to NYC and they got it on more than once and is now suffering “tremendous emotional, mental and psychological damage” because of it.

Doe’s lawyer, Jeff Herman, says, “According to our lawsuit [which was filed in an NY Federal Court], Kevin Clash knowingly paid to transport a minor across state lines for the purpose of satisfying his sexual interests.”

This is the third person to be suing Clash — the very first accuser, Sheldon Stephens was paid a settlement, although he wishes to reverse it.

Kate Middleton DJ Pranksters Have Reasons To Cry

The two Australian radio DJs at the center of the Kate Middleton prank call controversy are definitely feeling the hurt they caused, expressing in an interview that they never believed their actions would lead to someone’s death — and it has killed something else in it’s path: their entire show.

Michael Christian and Mel Greig sat down with Australian’s version of A Current Affair over the weekend to explain their actions and apologized for the phone call which led nurse Jacinta Saldanha to end her life.

“There’s not a minute that goes by that we don’t think about the family and what they must be going through”, Greig said during the sit-down ,”and the thought we might have played a part in that is discouraging … I wanted to just to reach out to them and give them a hug and say sorry, I actually do feel sorry, I really do.”

The tears are probably continuing to fall after that as it has just been learned that their radio show has officially been cancelled.
