Just when you thought the accusations from men who have claimed to have seen John Travolta‘s “greased lightning” let up, another man has stepped up to say that he and the Scientologist were intimate for years and only stepped up because the actor’s lawyer threatened to sue him for a National Enquirer story.

The guy in question, Doug Gotterba says he was Travolta’s pilot from 1981 to 1987.  He shared his story with the gossip mag earlier this year about his mile-high journeys with the star and was eventually threatened by John’s lawyer, Marty Singer with a lawsuit for breaking a confidentiality clause following his work.

Except Gotterba says that he never signed one.

He did put his John Hancock on a termination agreement, but it never had any notes about what he could or could not say following his employment.

But Singer tells TMZ Gotterba’s lawsuit is “ridiculous” … because he DID sign a contract that contains a confidentiality agreement … and he even included the document in his lawsuit.

Singer adds, “Mr. Gotterba obviously filed this lawsuit to get his 15 minutes of fame. We plan to get this meritless case promptly dismissed.”

How many “Johns” are actually out there?
