Don’t worry, y’all; she says something really, really dumb right after it.

In a candid moment, Lindsay Lohan recalls the time she decided to be a full-on lesbian and dated DJ Samantha Ronson. In the US Weekly article, she shares that perhaps it wasn’t the best relationship for her at that time in her life.

“‘I needed to love myself first before I could be with anyone else” she expresses, “and I was going through a lot. Two toxic people cannot be together. End of story. We’re friends now. That’s how it started so I think that’s how it was meant to be.”

The 26-year-old star also mentioned how hard it was for people to accept that she was dating someone of the same sex, saying that it was “not fair” that after all of the attacks, all she’s left with is a broken heart.

“It was my last serious relationship”, she admits.

But of course, it’s LiLo and before you paint her as misunderstood, remember she has a habit of blaming everyone else for her troubles.

In the interview, she also feels that everyone else (namely “sycophants and bad influences“) are to blame.

All of those trips to rehab, court and jail cells? Just normal kid stuff.

“Kids go through ups and downs, try cigarettes, drugs and drinking”, she shares. “It’s human nature.”
