Gay Man Kills Himself Over President’s Re-Election

Not everyone in America was “Go-bama”.

A gay man from Florida ended his own life after mounting bills and the re-election of Barack Obama became way too much for him to take.

64-year-old Henry Smith Hamilton Jr. was found dead by police in an apparent suicide almost two weeks ago. The Key West businessman, who gave to many AIDS charities, had been “distressed” about his business failing and left behind a copy of his will on his bathroom sink, which had the added note, “Do not revive! F*ck Obama!”

“If Barack gets re-elected, I’m not going to be around,” Hamilton had said to his partner of 11 years, Michael Cossey.

Hamilton had been battling depression for some time. Bottles of Xanax and other anti-depressants near him, but aren’t sure if ingesting them led to his death. Autopsy results are pending.

Kristen Stewart Is Officially Forgiven

It may not have started out that way, but Twilight star Kristen Stewart is definitely having a good close to 2012.

After reconnecting with boyfriend and co-star, Robert Pattinson following her cheating scandal and taking in some great bank with the final chapter of the vampire movie series, Breaking Dawn – Part II (which brought in over $140 million during it’s debut weekend in America alone), it turns out her other co-workers have forgiven her as well: she will be returning for the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman after all, even though it was rumored she wasn’t.

However, the other person in the mess, director Rupert Sanders is out.

“The script has already been written and production will begin late next year,” a source says of the upcoming filming. “However, Rupert Sanders definitely won’t be a part of the project. Rupert didn’t want to be a part of it because he is desperately still trying to save his marriage. The search is still on for a new director.”

Gotta admit it’s nice to see the girl be forgiven for once~~, even though she’s still a skank for doing it~~.

Florence Welch Wants To Go Away For A While

Stories like these never end well.

The powerful vocalist behind one of the UK’s most amazing groups, Florence + The Machine says that after two years of constant touring, she’s taking a break from it all.

“I’ve been on tour since I was 21″, lead singer Florence Welch told UK’s Evening Standard. “I need a break and to have the chance to do normal things, like go to the supermarket and hang out with my friends.”

It also seems like she wants to take her talents elsewhere: perhaps Broadway, in the form of writing a musical. A close friend of Welsh said that the two of them have prepared many songs to use on the very different type of stage.

In truth, the 26-year-old singer feels that she just needs to be inspired to write more amazing material.

“If I started writing songs now, all they’d be about is tour buses and hotel rooms”, she claimed.

No word on how long she’ll be away from the scene, but considering how fickle the industry is, she better take a quick nap and get back to business.

Canada Overtakes The American Music Awards

Blame Canada — they’re all over pop radio!

Two Canadians; namely Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen took over the American Music Awards last night with their wins.

Justin pretty much swept the show, taking home 3 of the trophies including the top honor, Artist of the Year. He brought his date onstage with him to take the final award of the night: his mother.

“I wanted to thank you for always believing in me”, he said to her with a smile.

In a shocker, Jepsen ended up taking the Best New Artist, although her first single was more one-hit wonder and her second is pretty lackluster ~~at least to me~~.

You can check out Justin’s performance above; a medley of “As Long As You Love Me” and his current single, “Beauty And A Beat” with Nicki Minaj (who took home two awards herself).
