will.i.am and Britney, B*tch!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlN69nz5BaU

Guess who’s back?

The anticipated single from Black Eyed Peas frontman, will.i.am with pop legend Britney Spears has finally made it’s way online. The track, “Scream and Shout” serves as the fifth overall single (two main and three promos) to his upcoming (and long waited) fourth album, #willpower.

The techno-ish track is definitely one for the clubs; even the lyrics say so: “When you hear this in the club, turn this sh*t up”, Britney croons in a British accent.

Oh, girl; you never disappoint.

The video is set for release next Thursday (Thanksgiving night) on the X-Factor, but you can get acquainted with the track above!

One Direction: “Twilight” Style

Definitely an odd, yet interesting close to a great week.

Brit pop sensation One Direction are riding high: their appearances on Ellen and The Today Show will more than likely help their sophomore album, Take Me Home hit the #1 spot on next week’s Billboard charts (rumor has it they’ve shipped nearly half-a-million copies; in related news, Christina Aguilera’s Lotus apparently didn’t even get out nearly a fifth of that).

But sometimes, fame has a downside and this time, they only have their fans to blame: a young girl’s fan fiction story of the group has netted her a book deal.

16-year-old Emily Baker originally wrote the internet tale of her being involved in a love triangle with two members of the band and now, her writing has gotten her published with Penguin Books.

More after the jump.

Lindsay Acts Badly; Doesn’t Care

Once upon a time, Lindsay Lohan used to be an actress and a pretty decent one at that. Years later following downright craziness, perhaps she’s lost her talent… but like everything else in her world, she’s brushing it off.

A few websites, including The Hollywood Reporter have given less than stellar reviews of her role as Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime flick, Liz & Dick, but LiLo isn’t checking them out.

According to reports, she has a strict “no reviews” policy and refuses to check out any regarding her work, good or bad, as it “take[s] away from her experience on the project.”

Considering THR called her performance “extremely bad”, we’re guessing that might be a good thing.

Liz & Dick airs November 25th.

Justin and Selena: Still Trying, Still Failing

This might be a sign to actually keep away from each other, but young love never listens.

Although they ended their relationship, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are still trying to work things out to no avail. The two met up twice over the week: once at a Four Seasons hotel (where it’s suspected they spent the night together) and again last night at a San Fernando Valley restaurant… although they both lost their appetite while dining.

Witnesses saw the two engaging in a heavy conversation that led to a huge argument (maybe Selena’s not over Justin’s rendezvous with that Victoria’s Secret model?) that ended up with Selena bolting from the dining establishment 10 minutes into the meal and Justin following suit moments after, with his head down.

Photographers say that Selena drove home and Justin followed, but once he got to the gates of her house, she sent him away and refused to let him in.

Seems like Selena may be on the Taylor Swift route.

A “Breaking Dawn” Near Massacre

Another reason to avoid movie theaters: people are crazy!

In an echo to the The Dark Knight massacre earlier this year, another one was narrowly avoided at a screening of Breaking Dawn, Part II in Missouri yesterday.

A 20-year-old man, Blaec Lammers purchased weapons used similarly in the Aurora, Colorado tragedy and planned to take out moviegoers during a screening of the final Twilight film, but was arrested by police before he could go through with it.

He’s facing charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action, and making a terroristic threat.

Following the Aurora shootings, there were two near misses in Ohio and Florida as well, although not as severe.
