Although many have felt her appearances during the live shows have been lackluster, Britney Spears has been bringing the eyes in for the American version of The X-Factor. And whether you like it or not, Brit confirmed herself during an interview that she’ll definitely go for another round once this season is up.
The show itself was just recently picked up for a third season, but no other judges have been announced for next season. Britney herself is a replacement judge, taking over for Nicole Scherzinger, who was fired last year (with Paula Abdul and host Steve Jones).

This story has so many twists and turns, you would swear that it was made for television.
The mother of Modern Family actress, Ariel Winter has spoken on the charges that she emotionally and physically abused the 14-year-old, saying that the entire thing stems from the actress’ choice of boyfriend: an 18 1/2 year old man.
Chrystal Workman claims that she loves her daughter very much in a statement released today, saying that she has “tried my best to always protect her and do what is right for her.”
“My fourteen-year-old daughter has been dating an eighteen-and-a-half-year-old man, and when I caught them engaging in behavior that I feel my daughter is too young mentally and physically to understand and fully grasp I put a stop to it immediately.”
The name of the man is not mentioned in the statement, but Workman says she filed a claim with the LA County Sheriff’s Office, stating that if the man wants to put her daughter into a path of intimacy she’s not truly ready for, “he should also be ready to suffer adult consequences for his actions.”
There’s a couple of problems with her “concern”: the alleged incident that took place between Ariel and the 18 1/2 year old wasn’t reported for two weeks after it supposedly occurred — which happens to be five days after Workman lost custody of her child.
Ariel seems to be handling this as best as she can. She was seen headed to the set of the ABC hit series earlier today.

When you think of VH1 Divas Live, the concert specials that celebrate the lives of some of the world’s popular female singers, there are many things you can be sure to happen: odd live duets that somehow work (remember that one with Beyonce and Jewel?), a bit of a mess (that one when Whitney brought up Bobby for a duet which mainly consisted of her screaming “My Love” over and over) and knowing that somewhere, a kid will pick up a musical instrument and be thankful for it (the series benefits the Save The Music Foundation).
The one thing you don’t expect: a man being added to the mix as a “diva”… but in this case, it’s Adam Lambert, so it sort of works.
The American Idol alum will join Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, Jordin Sparks and Ciara during the live December 16th event on VH1. This year’s edition will celebrate dance divas, which Adam definitely has something to offer. There will be tributes to the late Donna Summer and Whitney Houston as well.
