Remember when music videos were called banned for being too sexy and yet, still aired?
Unfortunately, we live in different times now where one mention of being inappropriate for any reason can get your work canned.
Case in point: rock band No Doubt released a video for their single, “Looking Hot” on Friday. But you may have not even known that considering the group decided to remove it from the internet only hours later.

She may love her some cake, but there’s always a catch!
Miley Cyrus‘ new music video, “Decisions” with dubstep producer Borgore has attracted quite a bit of attention since it dropped last week, including some from a porn producer who is offering the former Hannah Montana star a pretty penny to give a boost to her acting career — by going girl-on-girl for their company!
It turns out one of Miley’s co-stars in the video is a popular porn actress named Jessie Andrews, who works for Sex.com (you can’t make this one up, y’all). The media director of the company, Martin Ellison liked their interaction enough to pony up about a cool mil if Miley decides to do a “softcore naked make-out session” with Jessie.
“After seeing a preview for the video ‘Decisions,’ we were floored at how sexy both her, and Porn star Jessie Andrews look together”, Ellison wrote in a letter to Miley’s rep.
However, Miley doesn’t have to go all the way.
“How far Miley chooses she wants to go is entirely up to her”, he adds in the letter.
Apparently, Jessie says she’s down — but is Miley? Who knows? She’s been trying to get away from that clean-cut persona lately.

How much suffering can one family have?
After dealing with the fact that her only son had multiple sclerosis earlier this year, Sharon Osbourne underwent another setback when she found that she carried a gene that increased the risk of getting breast cancer. To erase some of the worry, Sharon decided to have a double mastectomy.
“I didn’t want to live the rest of my life with that shadow hanging over me”, the 60-year-old matriarch of the Osbourne clan told OK Magazine. “[Without the surgery], the odds [of survival] are not in my favor.”
As usual, the ever strong woman refuses to feel bad about the situation, nor does she want anyone else to.
“It’s not ‘pity me,’ it’s a decision I made that’s got rid of this weight that I was carrying around.”
Gotta love that woman.

Although she just released the video to the solo version not even two weeks ago, Alicia Keys is still riding high on her single, “Girl on Fire”; her first from her upcoming November album of the same name.
In a great way to keep the momentum going for the disc, she released a second video to the track; this one being the Inferno Remix with rapper/American Idol judge Nicki Minaj.

The absolute truth or protesting too much?
Joe Simpson, the manager and father of Jessica‘ is still under some dude heat, with people speculating that the reason he’s currently in the middle of divorcing wife Tina (who filed) is because he’s gay. Rumor has it that he’s been spotted around town with a 20-something boy toy and a new “younger” look, reveling in his newfound self.
But Joe says it ain’t so: sources close to him told TMZ that it’s just not true, calling the rumors “ridiculous”.
However, it seems like those “sources” are quite split on the issue: some say he is (and isn’t ready to leave the “hanger” behind), some say he isn’t.
No word from the man himself either way. We’ll keep you posted.
