From a “girl” into a woman right before our very eyes.

The uber-talented Alicia Keys is ready to light the world aflame with her upcoming album, Girl On Fire and nothing proves it more than the very sensual clip of the title track, which was just released.

The simple, yet beautiful video was directed by Sophie Muller and definitely reflects the place where Alicia most likely feels comfortable both physically (it’s in a bedroom, mostly), but emotionally as well.

Back in August, Alicia teased the process of the album saying that it was a “evolution and becoming more conscious and aware of who I am and what kind of life I want to have. You don’t just have to take the s— they dish out to you; you don’t have to take it.”

Keep giving us things like this, girl and we’ll happily take it.
