One of the most underrated artists in music, Pink, released a video for her new single, “Try”, the second single from her #1 album, The Truth About Love and somehow managed to go somewhere no one expected with it.

The emotional clip, which features a relationship at it’s breaking point and yet still not knowing how to let go, was hard to view for one of her biggest supporters – her mother.

“My mom, after seeing the new video … “Wow, honey. I’m speechless. And uncomfortable. No one can ever say you play it safe.” Thanks, mama:)”, she said on her Twitter.

She definitely doesn’t in the video, which features her and model Colt Prattes expressing the craziness through an interpretive dance that will either leave you breathless or in tears.

And in truth, it did both for me.

“Making this video was the most fun I’ve ever had in my entire career”, the singer said. “I never wanted it to end. It’s my favorite video ever.”
