Well, it seems like I’ll be checking out for the second year in a role.

No one knows who’ll be going head to head for next year’s Superbowl just yet, but we do know the person bringing the entertainment during the Halftime show.

It was confirmed yesterday that music powerhouse Beyoncé will be taking the stage during the sports spectacular come February of 2013.

Bey decided to join in on the announcement, posting a blog with a very cool image of her on her website wearing eye black, titled “Countdown to Touchdown”.

She follows last year’s awesome performance by Madonna.

As you can all see, the Superbowl XLVII (that’s 48) will air February 13.
