If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all… something I’m sure you’ve heard from your mother loads of times.

Someone who probably took that literally: actor Kelsey Grammer, who decided to bolt moments before an interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan after a picture of his ex-wife, Camille, was shown.

The interview, set to air last night, was obviously quickly canceled and a confused Piers took to Twitter to air it out.

“Kelsey Grammer was supposed to be on my show now but ran out of the building. Strange. [He] saw a photo of his ex wife Camille in the open to our show and legged it. Extraordinary. Never had this happen before. I had a very friendly chat with Kelsey backstage. He said he was really looking forward to the interview. Weird. I like Kelsey Grammer personally, but this was a shockingly unprofessional thing to do. I wasn’t even going to mention his ex-wife!”

Kelsey’s rep released a statement saying that, “Piers needed to take responsibility for what he did to Kelsey. It’s called accountability.”

In his defense, if I just lost a huge amount of money to my ex, I necessarily wouldn’t want to talk about her, either.
