Guess she better get used to cabs and walking.
A judge just scolded Amanda Bynes through her lawyer on driving around without her license, saying that if she gets behind the wheel again before it’s reinstated, she will be paying up — big time.
The lawyer appeared in an L.A. court yesterday for the star (who was busy getting kicked out of her gym class for acting “bizarre”) to fight a request to have Amanda taken into custody on $50,000 bail. Amanda is currently a free woman, although that may not last long. From TMZ:
The D.A. argued Amanda has proven time and again she’s a danger on the road — with two hit-and-run charges hanging over her head — and wanted the judge to impose bail to deter her from further endangering people.
But… the judge said Amanda’s alleged hit-and-run violations occurred BEFORE her license was suspended on August 25th, so he decided to give her a break … for now … rejecting the D.A.’s bail request.
The judge, however, made it crystal clear: if she causes any more mayhem on the road — especially during the time her license is revoked — a bail will be set high enough to get her to notice just how bad things are.
