Lindsay Lohan has officially been named as a suspect in last week’s theft of watches and sunglasses at a Hollywood Hills party. The owner of the home, Sam Magid, actually recanted his story and said that there was nothing stolen, but the LAPD says that there are several eyewitnesses who saw Lindsay and her assistant, Gavin Doyle, swipe the items.

Detectives in the case have contacted their lawyers to no avail. She’s currently on probation for her past theft charge at a Venice jewelry store and could serve time if she’s letting her sticky fingers do the walking once more.

Another police department unconnected to the theft claim wants to speak to the flame-haired star over reports that she lied about the car crash she was involved in while filming the Lifetime biopic, Liz and Dick.

Santa Monica police are looking to question her over the statement that she wasn’t the one driving the vehicle when it slammed into the back of a big rig. Lindsay allegedly said that it was her assistant driving, but it was proven that it was LiLo behind the wheel.

Because of the aforementioned previous probation, she could face up to a year in jail if she lied about her involvement in the crash.

Now would not be the time to be a mean girl, Lindsay.
