I guess some people who hate really don’t have anything better to do.

Madonna is being sued by anti-gay leaders in Russia following a concert stop there, where she made comments to promote tolerance, acceptance and love of the LGBT community.

The country holds some very strong anti-gay sentiments and a law passed in February makes it illegal to “promote homosexuality to minors”. According to the author of the law, there were minors at the MDNA concert stop “as young as 12″ when Madge made the comments on August 9th.

Alexander Pochuyev, a lawyer representing the nine idiots activists filed the suit last Friday against Madonna, the organizer of her concert, and the hall where it was held, asking for damages totaling 333 million rubles, or nearly $10.5 million.

This is the second time she’s managed to upset the Russians: last week, her appearance there was threatened when she commented her thoughts regarding rock band, Pussy Riot.

So, gay love is a no-no, but old boobies are?

That was a close one…

Rosie O’Donnell had quite the scary moment when she suffered a heart attack –last week. The former talk-show host chose to reveal the news via a poem on her website site.

The prose, entitled My Heart Attack (great title, there) explains that while helping an “enormous” woman out of her car, she started to suffer through “chest pains, clammy skin, and vomiting”. She took an aspirin and waited until the next day to see her cardiologist, who told her that she suffered through a “widow maker” heart attack.

She closes it out by saying that she’s “lucky to be here” and for other women to “Know the symptoms… listen to the voice inside … CALL 911… save urself.”

Um… then who exactly is she supposed to be?

As we mentioned earlier, Myla Sinanaj was deposed today in the divorce proceedings for Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian and in the oddest page in this overdrawn story, pretty much claimed that she didn’t date Kris, hardly knew him and was never pregnant.

According to TMZ, she was also asked whether the two of them (herself and Kris) had ever had sex — and her lawyer told her not to answer the question.

Interestingly enough, before you all start questioning just how much money changed hands, however:

Myla also said she never considered filing a lawsuit against Kris for telling the FBI she tried to extort him.  Tell that one to Myla’s former lawyer, Joe Tacopina, who drafted a 26-page defamation lawsuit on her behalf.

One thing was strongly mentioned: she said Kris never paid her for her silence.

So sad to see her go, but what a life she lived.

Phyllis Diller, a woman who many herald as the leading force in female comedy, passed away peacefully in her sleep today in her Los Angeles home. She was 95 years old.

In a career that spanned decades, Ms. Diller gained fame and accolades from her stand-up acts, appearances on The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson, Laugh-In and so much more.

“She was a true pioneer,” Diller’s agent Fred Wostbrock told EW. “She was the first lady of stand up comedy. She paved the way for everybody. And she conquered television, movies, Broadway, record albums, nightclubs, books, and radio. She did it all. A true pioneer.”

She was surrounded by her family when she passed on. I’m sure she’s making the angels laugh as I type this. May she rest always.

Figured this would come sooner or later.

Comedian Wayne Brady decided to man up and apologize for his Trig Palin Down’s Syndrome joke at last week’s Comedy Central Roast For Roseanne.

He admitted that he didn’t write the joke himself (most Roast jokes aren’t written by whose on the stage), but that he takes “full responsibility for saying it.”

The statement on his Facebook page goes on:

“I could defend it as a performer, but I would rather apologize from the bottom of my heart as a father.”

“To the Palins, please know that no malice or harm was meant. To the other families who were touched negatively, I hope you’ll be able to accept this apology as well.”

Wow… an apology to Sarah Palin… that may be a first.

As for why he apologized, he told TMZ over the weekend that although most jokes at Roasts are overboard, “there are people with sensitivities … and some people were bothered.”

And yet, this idiot pretty much got off with a slap on the wrist. Funny, indeed.
