Considering their epic win of 16 medals at the games last week, (from left to right) Conor Dwyer, Cullen Jones and Ryan Lochte definitely have a reason to party.

Let’s just hope they cleaned the pool after Ryan was done, though.

I suppose with all of those alter egos (Roman, Nicki Teresa, Onika, etc.), the one body had to shut them all down.

Nicki Minaj has canceled her upcoming performances at the V Festival in London due to “strained vocal chords”. Her publicist released the statement, which notes that Nicki’s vocal chords were already bruised on the 14th of August following a performance in NYC and a doctor told her to rest up for a while.

Oddly enough, she may also just be warming up for the biggest position of her life: reports have surfaced that the Starships singer is up for the third chair on the new season of American Idol — which makes it a three-way race between Nick Jonas, Diddy and now her.

As a hint to her possible upcoming position, Nicki tweeted that she had to push back her fall tour to promote her latest album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, but the reason for it would make her fans “very happy”.

So, does this mean Charlie Sheen isn’t going to do it? Because I really wanted that to happen.

Sometimes, the most horrible of occurrences can find healing through a similar connection.

A college girlfriend of domestic abuser football player, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson wants to somehow meet up with Basketball Wives star, Evelyn Lozada in hopes that they can help each other move on from the situation she found herself in last week because she’s been through it, too: in 2000, the girlfriend was slapped by Johnson while the two of them dated.

According to insiders at TMZ, the woman (whose name has not been released) has been reaching out to Lozada on Facebook and Twitter in hopes of finding closure and helping each other heal. She hasn’t had any luck as of yet.

In the most ironic of all things ironic, TMZ also obtained a copy of the certificate Chad achieved after completing a domestic violence course due to the incident with the ex-girlfriend.

There really aren’t many positive male role models in Rihanna‘s life — I suppose you can count Jay-Z as a good one, but he doesn’t even deal with her much nowadays.

Another man, Zentil Vanzellas just completed 277 days in prison for stalking the Barbadian singer. Convicted in 2010, he was arrested for showing up at her L.A home and giving her reason to fear for her safety. He was originally given a year, but was released on good behavior.

As part of the sentence, he must stay at least 500 yards away from her for 10 years.

According to TMZ, Vanzellas is now living in the same city as her, but has apologized and promised to stay away from her.

Considering how irresistible she seems to be toward some men, I have a small bit of doubt over that one.

It’s always good to go to your parents when you’re going through something deep… especially when they’re going through it at the same time.

TMZ caught wind of the impending divorce proceedings of William and Debra Humphries; the parents of Kris, who is living through a very similar situation.

The documents were filed earlier this month in Minnesota and it looks like some money will be in play for the split — William owns a chain of Five Guys Burgers and Fries throughout the state. Including Kris, the two have two adult-aged daughters.

One good thing: at least the Humphries family gets money for actually doing stuff.
