Chad Johnson Attacks “Basketball Wives” Star

And you thought the drama would solely be on camera.

Chad Johnson (formerly Chad Ochocinco) was arrested last night for headbutting his reality star wife, Evelyn Lozada. According to TMZ, the fight started when Lozada, who stars on the VH1 series, Basketball Wives, found a receipt for condoms inside their car and confronted Chad about them:

“We’re told at some point during the argument, Johnson head-butted Lozada. According to reports, Johnson told police he butted heads with Lozada by accident.”

Johnson spent the night in the Broward County Jail in Davie, FL and was released on $2,500 bond. He was also ordered not to have any contact with Lozada. The two were married only 10 months ago.

According to reports, after the head-butting, Johnson started screaming at Lozada, saying that he didn’t “give a f*ck” about his career (he currently plays for the Miami Dolphins).

Lozada ran to a neighbor’s house, where she called the police, while Johnson drove around the streets looking for her.

Despite the fact that Johnson claimed the headbutting was an “accident”, he later told police that she was the one who headbutted him, saying “f*ck it” to him.

Evelyn was treated at a local hospital and released this morning.
