Actor Bob Hoskins revealed via a statement that he was battling Parkinson’s Disease and that because of it, he would be retiring from his profession.

He says was diagnosed last fall and thanked his fans for their support, saying he had a “wonderful career.”

With over 80 movies to his credit, the 69-year-old British actor definitely can head off with a smile on his face. Throughout his career, he garnered a Cannes Award, a Golden Globe for Best Actor, several BAFTA Awards, and an Academy Award nomination.

Don’t be  fooled by the rocks that she got, yo.

Jennifer Lopez has filed a $20 million dollar countersuit against a former driver, saying that he threatened to go public with things she said while he worked for her back in the day.

The driver, Hakob Manoukian allegedly became “drunk with power” while chauffeuring around the superstar, she claims in the suit. TMZ has a bit more details:

“[He] wanted to control her entire security team and get more money for doing it.  When he was shut down, Jennifer claims he retaliated by threatening to spill confidential information that would be highly embarrassing.”

Manoukian requested $2.8 million to keep quiet about it, threatening that if she didn’t, he would have her criminally prosecuted.

Damn, what did he actually overhear?!

He also claims that he was forced to resign when Jenny’s manager, Benny Medina publicly berated him.

It just wouldn’t be a Madonna tour without some kind of controversy and craziness, now would it?

Fans have been warned in advance of Madge’s upcoming MDNA show in Russia tomorrow, saying that someone made a serious threat against the singer, her crew and American spectators.

Allegedly, it stems from some comments she made on stage regarding a Russian band called “Pussy Riot” (you can’t make that one up, people) while in Moscow; proclaiming their innocence after three members were arrested following a performance there.

The U.S. Embassy released a warning, particularly to any Americans who view the show to “to remain vigilant regarding their personal security.”

Madonna’s people say that the show will go on as scheduled.
